Dana can says alot of things. Overeem will NEVER sign with the UFC. Overeem likes to fight on his terms and when he likes. If he was in the UFC he wouldnt be K-1 Champ now. Neither would he be SF or DREAM champ. He's just be another UFC heavy fighting once or twice a year for chump change. He's had 7 fights this year. That would never happen if he was in the UFC.
Dana says he likes Reem but he hasn't really achieved anything for him to be ranked as highly as people think. I think that is BS. If Buentello and CC could and can be in the UFC then Reem shits all over them. Dana likes him and I think he has tried to sign him before but Reem won't sign because he likes competiting in America (SF), Japan (Dream) and kickboxing (K1)! I would also suspect he earns alot more money that way - $400k for his K1 GP win. That isn't including his qualifiers or MMA bouts!
Dana said the same thing about Fedor. I wouldn't pay any attention to what he says. He is after all a promoter.
