Thats another myth created by the Brits. They saved Vitali from having more damaged skin around his eye, thats about it. Vitali's eye ball itself was taking no more damage then if he was not cut. Do you think that having a cut around his eye causes punches to do more damage to his eye ball? How does having cuts around the eye make the eye ball get more damaged by punches?
Dream on son. Wlad has a punchers chance, no more. Everyone knows Lennox would turn it into a street fight, would walk him down, and stop him early as he did with all the large opponents he's faced. Wlad could not take a punch then, and he still can't, he was too scared to engage a shot to ****, blown up, feather fisted cruiserweight in Mormeck. How would he react when Lennox gets inside! Frank Bruno was outboxing Lennox, he was up on the score-cards, before Lennox stopped him as well! Lennox had so many ways to win, he could outbox with his great jab, he had KO power in both hands, great speed and he could fight on the inside, and turn it into a dog-fight. He almost always beats Vitali if they fight, if you want me to explain how to you again, I'd be more than happy to do so.
Saying Vitali took the fight on 10 days notice is pushing logic in the extreme. He was in full training camp to fight Boswell on that night, THE EXACT SAME WAY lewis was in training camp for Johnson. Although judging by his weight, quite how hard Lewis was training for Johnson is debateable.
Nice video, especially with the slow mo replay :good But damn, ESB needs some new matterial. Cant wait for Floyd vs Cotto.
This content is protected Had that been Wlad instead of Vitali, Lewis would still be out cold :deal Edit: notice Lennox holding for his dear life after the right hand.
Holding was the right thing to do there, what else should he have done? The same Wlad who couldn't hurt David Haye with his best right hands?
It doesn't matter how much you slice it (pardon the pun)in Vitali's favour, it was no normal cut was it? It was a wound that required plastic surgery and was almost down to the bone. If you are saying Vitali's eyesight wasn't at risk from permanent damage then you are wrong. One of the most googled images on the web is hardly a myth.
