    It's a seriously uphill battle for FMJ against Leonard. Ray is the bigger man. He's longer, he's faster, he's stronger. His offense is extremely versatile. He has the physical advantages and he's too varied of a fighter to just be tamed with a shoulder roll and reduced workrate.

    I just don't see how anything FMJ ever saw could prepare him for SRL.

    An in shape Duran can make just about anybody fight a "dumb" fight. It's hard to fight your fight against a well prepared Roberto Duran. A quality pressure fighter knows how to cut off the ring. It's hard to get him off you, he's attached to your hip. Leonard didn't punch hard enough to keep Duran off of him.

    Duran was 3 divisions above his best weight and was not a great 154 pounder. He was capable of great performances at that weight but he was too inconsistent above 147. Floyd was a terrific welter.
