UK: Looking at your preparation what has been different compared to your
    preparation before the Ward fight?

Since I have changed my trainer, we have implemented a bit more
structure in my preparation towards the fight – I would characterize
that as the biggest change compared to the Ward fight. Furthermore, a
new trainer means new exercises and new tactical training. I have had
the best preparation for a long time – and I really look forward to show
you guys the real Mikkel Kessler next Saturday! But I think it is hard
to compare the two fights, primarily because this fight is in front of
my fantastic home crowd. Furthermore I have been able to do my
preparation close to the fight venue – which is a great advantage
compared to a fight in the USA, where you have to be aware of the time
    differences etc..

During your tough preparation before a fight how much do you see your
    family?
UK: My family is very important to me, and I try to see them as often as
possible, no matter if I am preparing for a fight or not. Having said
that my preparation often takes place abroad(this time in Germany) and
therefore it is not possible for me to visit them in those periods. I am
very close with my family and therefore it is nice to be with them, it
makes me relax and think of different things than boxing.

UK: Why is organic food that important to you?
I am glad you ask me that question. Because I am having a hard time
trying to understand why so many people eat what they eat in general but
especially after training. I try to eat organic food only. The reason
why is actually quite simple. Organic food is produced with one thing in
mind – to keep the products as clean and natural as possible. If you
have a top tuned engine you do not load it with bad fuel – you give it
the best possible fuel. In other words you provide it with the fuel that
gives it the best chances to perform at the best possible level. That is
the way I look at it, no matter if we talk sports nutrition like protein
powder, fruit or meat. In my opinion we should all think like that!

Never having been a road warrior, much less be used to traveling to a radically different climate, is a decent-ish point to make. The rest of that interview was pretty random.
