The only guy that can possibly give him problems is Manny.

Cotto is a very good fighter, but I'd imagine FLoyd would beat him even more sound in a rematch. Their first fight wasn't close at all.

The other guys don't even deserve the mention. I mean seriously, Khan and Brook?

Read the thread. We aren't talking about who would beat him we are talking about what would enhance his legacy.

Brook and Khan in the UK, provided he fights Manny first would unify all 4 titles at 147 and be the 1st man to do so and would be Mayweather's only fight outside the US (in front of 80,000 people no less).

Kell Brook will enhance Mayweather's career?

Mayweather vs. Cotto was indeed close. I had it 116-112 Mayweather but it was a tougher fight than even that sounds. Cotto has flipped a switch reverting to his old aggressive style and is looking strong at middle, while Mayweather looked very beatable against Maidana.

Khan and Brook right now don't add too much to legacy based on their 147 work through now, but after one beats the other? (absorbing their stock into the fold) :think

Huge moneymaker Floyd Mayweather 47-0 vs Cesar Cuenca 47-0, it would be EPIC:deal:deal:deal

    His listed reasons he would.

    Are you refuting those reasons?

How can a guy who's biggest victory is shawn porter gonna enhance Mayweather's career?

Mayweather vs Canelo was a historic event, a level which I don't think a fight with Kell Brook will reach. What you can not tell me is that the Canelo fight enhanced Mayweather's legacy.
A fighters legacy does not become enhanced because his opponent helped sale a bunch of tickets.

As for Khan. Khan will be lucky to make the hall of fame so I don't see how he will enhance Mayweathers career.

Let me explain this to you slowly because I know you are a bit slow.

If Mayweather beat Manny Pacquiao and unified 3 titles there would be 1 other title left in the division...

If Mayweather then beat the IBF champion he would unify all 4 belts.

Do you know how many people at 147 have accomplished that in the era of a multiple world champions? 5? Nope. 4? Lower? 2. Lower still....the answer is zero.

In fact in the era of 4 world titles hardly anyone has done it in any division. Hopkins did it at Middleweight. Did he only beat bona fide ATG's to win those belts? No. Did being an undisputed champion in the division enhance his legacy? Yes

Why is this idiot around to post when he can't read?

And yes, it did help enhance Mayweather's legacy.

He took Canelo's 0 first of all- a fighter who is far from done yet and may pave a Hall of Fame career himself, became a lineal champion at 154 and at the same time as holding belts at 147 (which he continued to defend).

 at you calling me slow. Dude to call you an imbecile is an understatement. You're the village idiot of this forum congratulation.

You whole argument on why Mayweather should fight Brook revolves around a bunch of plastic belts, hundreds of which Mayweather has stacked somewhere in his living room. A bunch of belts which don't mean **** except to non educated boxing ******s like you.

Historically Mayweather's career will be evaluated based on the quality of his opponents not how many trinkets he was able to grab from corrupt boxing organizations, not that I expect you to know that.

The only fighter that can enhance Mayweather's career is Dapidran Pacquiao.

As for Khan. I doubt you would have considered khan a worthy opponent if he wasn't from Britain.

Dude you're pugilistically illiterate to argue with me, so you may as well give up.

As I expected this conversation is a few levels above your pay scale.

Mayweather would set a record that nobody else has previously done by unifying all 4 titles at 147, as Hopkins did at middleweight and is an accomplishment that is purred over by many boxing historians to this day. You think in years to come any book will be written on Hopkins without appauling his unification of the middleweight division? You think wrong.

And I didn't say Khan was a relevant opponent, but if he beats Brook, then he is, as he is a belt holder at 147. You're probably going to say Thurman, who resume is far inferior to Khan's with Brook attached is a more relevant opponent. If one was to rate Mayweather's accomplishments you could knock that the fight he never fought outside his comfort zone. Coming to the UK to fighting a winner of a fight between Brook/Khan would tick that box, at the same time equaling Marciano's 49-0 record.

But you know, I suppose I'm talking to someone's who's pugilistically more illiterate than me....

    oh wait...I'm not. :lol::lol:

Believe me. If Pacquiao fought Floyd I would want Pacquiao to win, not because I particularly like or dislike either fighter but I'd like to see the *****'s have a melt down, but I'm not just going to make up Mayweather is a giant Welterweight to fit an agenda.

He is not a big welterweight and nor is Pacquiao. Neither of them differ much in weight from where they are on fight night.

    Manny beats him soundly.
Khan gives him a lot of trouble.
Brook, I don't know why anyone talks about Brook.
Cotto and Canelo already lost to him. But this version of Cotto would def. do better against him.
