I would rather see you retire from writing anything to do with boxing. By winning Haye has just made the HW division more interesting. Why would a man with great prospects retire?

In future please think first, then write.

Haye fought the right fight. Using his speed and conditioning to keep him safe while picking his spots. Your entire analysis was ignorant kotjinx.

    You shouldn't be so bitter.

Haye had to promote himself into the division, and that's what he did. If he wanted the big fights, he had to create interest.

The fact is that like him or hate him, a lot of people tuned in to watch the fight last night, and although it wasn't what Haye promised, he got the result.

He's got power, his defensive movement is good, and he comes into the ring in shape. These three things alone make him a more exciting heavyweight fighter than 95% of the division.

you clearly know **** all about boxing, haye made valuev look silly, yes he was abit negative at times but clearly landed the harder and more accurate shots,i bet his connect percentage was really high to ,you could tell valuev knew he was losing by the look of confusion on his face this showed that aswell as power haye has excellent movement,it reminded me of a PBF fight hitting and not being hit but i guess only pure boxing fans appreciate these skills.

To all those calling me a 'Haye-ter': I think your posts are based on a fundamental misunderstanding. So please allow me to clarify.

I, like no doubt many of you as well, want only the best things to happen to David. That is precisely why I think he should retire.

I believe that in the future it will become increasingly hard for him to fight stiffs (there will come a point where even you, his most loyal fans, will find it hard to buy the increasingly incredulous excuses...). And once his level of HW opposition rises, he could well find that his greatest asset - i.e. his jaw - gets shattered (not to mention the stretcher possibility). You wouldn't want that, would you?

So why not leave on a high, when he has your love, admiration and his health? Why choose the 'A-Farce'/McClellan way?

Mate, your wasting your time posting on this thread! These are probably the same idiots that despite all his running had dirrel smashing froch. Valuev landed about 3 shots all night. Haye wobbled him which no other person has managed to do. Those are the facts these blinders need to accept.

There is a distinction between a titlist (and a contentious one at that) and champion. You might want to make sure you understand what it is before posting.

While I'm at it - and on the contentious point. If you believe Haye won against Valuev, then you'll no doubt agree that Holyfield won also. So at best, Haye won against someone who should not have had the title in the first place. Precisely what is the value of that?

Hi Arran, hope we're communicating on the same level now. Feel free to paste in more funny icons - I always enjoy a solid and deep argument.
