Three reasons why Haye should retire NOW

I'm positive it took me less time to write it than it took you to read it.

 

Three shots would be about two more than Haye landed, right?

And while I agree with one of the previous posts that landing one out of one gives you an impressively high connect percentage, I fail to be convinced that these are the types of fights that most fans want to see.

As an aside, an out of curiosity... Do you shave your chest like Haye as well?

 

I wish. Ever since Fatboy Slim used my photo for his album cover I'm getting a lot of unwanted publicity. And the angel wings are a real pain as well, to be honest.

 

Thanks for sharing a page from your diary and for uploading a photo. Well done, they put Zola to shame! It's not quite clear to me why you chose this thread, but the honesty is really appreciated (I also see you took the time to revise it, which is touching as well - if I was grading it, you'd get an A for trying hard).

That said, the credibility of your post is somewhat compromised by the fact that you claim to be from East London. I thought it's common knowledge that the internet hasn't made it to the grotty estates in that part of the city... And why anyone would want to pretend to be from there really beats me. Can you help?

To be honest, I would not have that much against Haye were it not for the discrepancy between what he promised and what he ended up delivering. Yes, he needs to sell fights and some trash talk can help, but when you promise multiple orgasms and then fail to get an erection you end up looking like a... flaccid *****, I guess.

You mention the excitement he generates, but - sadly - most of it (we can argue about that) is due to stuff done outside of the ring, not inside of it. When he lambastes the current crop of heavy weights for generating snooze-fests and then plays a main part in one, then that again makes him look like a tit...

You ask what he could have done differently against Valuev. I'll tell you what:

1) He could have pressed the action, rather than look ****-scared and hop in and out twice every round... Yep, I've heard it's brilliant strategy (and oddly it does win you a title), but exciting it is NOT.

2) Instead of starting the whole bull-**** injury argument he could have knocked out Valuev in the first round, when his hand was allegedly still ok, rather than wait until the twelfth to rock him. Yep it's not easy - Valuev is big and has a hard skull - but that's precisely what I'd expect the best heavy weight in the world to do (or at least try to), particularly after all the bragging he'd done in the last couple of months.
