You should watch their encounter -it was fun to watch and very entertaining. Mezencev's handspeed is impressive, and so are his quick feets. He can also punch but is far too stiff and his stamina is quite poor. He has talent and as I said I would like to watch him again in a pro ring as he has all the tools to make some noise at heavy. He is extremely young-just turned 20. A good coach, some easy opponents, then good match-making,hard work,a lot of sweat, and a powerful promoter.Thats all he needs to come back. You should watch their fight on youtube, mate!
You can already watch their entire fight on youtube.I just had a look to watch again the very first round of their encounter.
Franz Rill has replaced the injured Erkan Teper and thus fight Robert Helenius on next week's fight card in Helsinki,Finnland. I very much doubt that Rill will make it to the last round of their scheduled encounter but I havent seen that much of Rill in order to be completely sure. He seems to lack telling firepower and size to be competitive with guys like Helenius. I guess Helenius will win by way of ko or tko.Nevertheless,I am looking forward to their fight as Rill seems to have a tiger's heart to take on someone like Helnius with just 11 pro victorios over weak opposition. Well,he puts all eggs into one basket..........maybe rightfully so as he isnt backed by powerful promoter. As for Wallisch he will be the main fighter of a fight card in Berlin on january the 9th.His opponent is still unknown, but it is time for him to fight a widely known name with a good reputation.Wallisch has all the tools to make a lot of noise but it far too inactive and wasting his time on small fight cards against limited opposition. I guess he would be a serious threat to Helenius if he had replaced Teper, far more dangerous than Rill probably.
Rill showed a courageous fight against Helenius and proved that he truly has a fighter's heart.I am looking forward to watching the German-Canadien's next fight. Fun to watch but no match for the top dogs at heavy. Schwarz had a war with his extremely young German-Russian opponent and even had to say hello to the ring dust. Very good experience for Schwarz. He is tough, mentally tough.Thats for sure! Still,............too hittable,too.............. . I dont know but I just cant picture him beat a fighter like Granat-for example,at least not now. Wallisch looked like a clumsy oaf and lumberjack against a very mediocre journeyman.Totally disappointing performance by Wallisch. He semes to lack motivation, drive and determination. I dont know what has happend to him over the last few months but his last performance doesnt bode well for his future in the paid ranks.I still think that he is the most gifted German based heavy but he should switch his trainer as soon as possible and take some time and truly decide whether boxing at the pros is his future or not. At this point of time Granat is probably the best bet for a big time show at the big boys' league.
