    such a coincidence because i have this on dvd and watched it with my grandparents today (seen it before) i hate ali always have always will larry holmes had it right saying he was overrated.

    Ali just a racist.

    Thats how I saw the docu. Fraziers side needed telling after all the pro Ali slant on the fued, but.......

    mos def. Ali was no saint. He even said that his illness is a message from God.
    The man left the sport in a sad way..

    people hate ali like he was a criminal who raped or murdered someone. Please.

    His Humanitarian work speaks for itself.

    I've seen it a few times .Great documentary .Very pro Frazier but as far as i know the hate was all one way> Frazier was supportive in Ali's attempt to come back after his ban and was rewarded witrh nothing but hate and borderline racism (Ali was insulting to darker skinned blacks like Frazier and Liston ).
    In many ways its the anti Rumble in the jungle . Where Ali's abuse hypnotised Foreman it just made Frazier stronger .
    Frazier comes accross as a simple man but one who if you cross him will hold a grudge for life . And being called a Gorilla repeatedly by a lighter skinned black man and being callled an Uncle Tom would earn anyones emnity

    It's strange (to me) how fights back then happened in Manila, Zaire and Jamaica... no big fights would ever happen there now. I watched half of it, good watch.

    The way ali got up from that unbelievebale shot shows hwo he could a shot.Alis bravery as well as the way he could take a show are often overlooked.
    As is Joes bravery, wanting to carry on in manilla, gettin up repatedly against Foreman.

    I thought so aswell but when the person in the documentary was explaining how well known the hw champs were at that time and how much of an event it was. You realise how useful it was for the leaders of these countries to take attention away from the human rights abuses occuring in them. Name a fight nowadays that would bring a whole city to a standstill in the way those did

    Ali although he goes down as an ATG, had many technical flaws in his game.

    his inside work was perhaps non existent, he couldn't adapt to left hooks and pulled away from punches by going backwards in a straight line.
