    Ali collapsed and had little left when the fight was called off. He said he was close to death, but McVey thinks otherwise.

    Ali had too good of a 14th round and too much pride and will to win not to have come out for the 15th round. What either man had left is anyone's guess. Joe wanted to go back out but Futch fearing for his fighter's health pulled the plug.

    based on what? the fact that frazier was immeadietly able to leave while ali stayed in his dressing room for half an hour? or the fact that frazier and ali both went to a party after the fight and frazier was dancing and ali sat down only offering up a finger to shake hands with people? maybe it was the fact that ali collapsed on the canvas after the fight was stopped?

    It is called subjectivity, as opposed to objectivity. If a fighter said something that he WANTS to believe the fighter is an honest down to earth guy, if he said something he doesn't WANT to believe the fighter is Bullshitting.

Ali did not have more left than Frazier. Ali is my favorite fighter of all time but i will not be biased like yourself. You just hate Frazier for no reason at all.     They were both to tired to end matters before the last bell. Frazier was stopped against his will and he hated it.

    Yeah, shame he didn't realize Eddie did him a favor.But I do think Joe was right: Ali was scared of him(even if Joe may have been a little scared of Ali too).
