Throwing an overhand right

    Why do you want to learn bad habits? The perfect right hand for an orthodox fighter is a straight right. It is the shortest distance from point A toB. You step in shift your weight and punch as if your arm is an extension of your body. There is much more power with the shorter punch. Also note that looping punches are easier to avoid.

    should only throw it agaisnt taller guys. Timing is everything. Bait him first, parry few long jabs on the outside while moving your head, then move in very quick, two short steps, I mean really short steps (this is to maintain your balance because you will be loading up) lean towards your left (presuming you are orthodox) put all your weight on left legs then pivot with your right while delivering that hammer of thor on that mother****ers nose/temple :bbb
