Is this the jolt in the arm that the 154 division needs? As divisions go, it's pretty well-stacked with good fighters, but it doesn't really have any massive for the casual fan stateside. So many good permutations of fights when you put him in there for me. Cotto, Canelo, Smith, the Charlos, Lara, Andrade even Khan isn't unrealistic - all elite level fights that would be massive in the UK and would bring some much-needed interest to the most competitive division in the sport (in my opinion, of course).
He'd fit right in, and would be tough for anybody to topple. He really impressed me last night, and proved he's an elite Talent.
Would love to see it, but I don't think Golden Boy would take the risk. Hope I'm wrong because, like you say, it is a natural fight to be made. Brook definitely built his stock now.
