But Ward's elbow work is so ridiculously blatant at first glance it absolutely beggars belief.

Haven't watched the video yet but it's hardly a secret that Ward isn't the cleanest fighter in the world. That's definitely part of what makes him so difficult to beat.

Those headbutts are disgusting, 100% intentional. As a Mayweather hater, I found it hilarious that Mayweather knocked Ortiz the **** out after that ridiculous headbutt. Shitty knock out, but justified and hilarious. This really makes me want Kov to knock Ward out.

Those headbutts against Kessler, wow, I wish Kessler would have sucker punched him and KO'd him cold. The nerve of Ward to touch his head acting like oh I'm hurt too.

 

Yeah, he's probably the most prolific headbutter I've seen too.
Hopkins, Holyfield, Marciano, Tyson (among others) were all pretty handy with the head, but Andre Ward's a prize pedigree billygoat.

 

yeah well funny you mention that about him touching his head because if you've seen Ward enough times you'll realise that that's his tell,every time he lunges in with his head he holds his head and turns to the ref whilst in that milli second his opponent hasn't even had the chance or time to start rubbing his head,it's calculated for sure and the refs turn a blind eye.

So many elbows, headbutts, hugs and almost no warnings from the referees and this should be considered good for the sport itself? He's style is so ugly so dirty as being honest I cannot understand how this guy could even have fans.

 

I can only reach the conclusion that he attracts a certain following who are grateful to see a man who shares similar deplorable traits to themselves, actually achieve something, even if it's through questionable means.

But fret not, as tonight the krusher will ensure Mr Ward is finally held accountable for all the attempt he has ever made to contravene and distort the rules of this great sport.

Some people like that sort of thing. There is actually a skill and intelligence in being able to effectively utilize these techniques and get away with it.

I have never been a real fan of Ward but I can see why some people would be. He is very good at what he does and that's quite impressive.

 

What relevance does this serve?
