Old Hopkins is still a great fighter, but one not as athletic and quick and physical inside as Ward. Ward in his prime is more versatile because he doesn't have to rely on pot-shotting at the perimeter of the ring, he can be more proactive and in-and-out due to fresher legs.

I didn't see Joe switch modes at all, he just spammed arm punches when in range and Hopkins tried to force clinches over and over to land the cleaner shots. The rounds were dreadful to score and I had it a draw, Joe didn't demonstrate definitive superiority at all in that fight.

That's a good fight, I think if Beterbiev comes out with bad intentions he can get Ward out of there, though it might backfire if Ward survives. I have to see more of Beterbiev to make a solid prediction but it's no guaranteed win for Ward.
