..hmmmm..mate..Gary Wills lost that fight..and Pat Stone was no mug..they would've pretty much been on a par going into this fight..

 

He is having too many keep warm fights. This guy and the last guy Matt Hicks are ****. I suppose this guy hasn't lost but he's only fought chumps.

It wasn't a standing 8 count. Ropes prevented him from licking the canvas = knockdown. Other than in NSW, there's no standing 8

 

Tell that to Danny Green, the ropes saved him from a knockdown against Tarver, ref didnt do sht.

The referee put a count on him because it is the rule.

It was not a night to remember but let's not carry on with
crap like this making the night even worse than it was.

You wouldn't put a dog through what Joe Lloyd was expected to endure.

 

Funny how the IBO did not apply that same rule to Danny Green when Tarver smashed him and the only thing from preventing him from toppling to his ass was the ropes. He actually expected to get the 8 count but because its an IBO we love Danny Ref no 8 count was applied, i made this argument ages ago and its funny how its now turned full circle and people like you now argue about another fight in which the same thing has occured. What happen to you when this occured to Danny Green and no 8 count was applied in a so called World Title fight?

Not disagreeing at all Ty. Never agreed with the ref's call on that one but that dosen't make this call wrong.

The ref made the right call on this occasion so it shouldn't be an issue.

I just find it odd that people are bching about this fight yet totally ignore what happen in a high profile fight with Green vs Tarver.
