It's ****ing deplorable to expect a 23 year old with a handful of fights to fill in on such short notice. And all for what? To save the mainevent of the shitest card ever televised?

**** that, the kid could have easily died. It is what it is, a ****ing disgrace

Agree with all of that, and don't forget he got straight off a plane and didn't even have time for a warm-up. ****ing deplorable alright.

So they didn't even give him enough time between the plane and the fight to warm up :adminHow Joe Lloyd got out of the fight without brain damage or serious injury is beyond me.

Anyone who thinks using a 23 year old, late replacment with a 2 win 4 loss record as a punching bag to a world rated heavyweight with 30+ fights is acceptable is an idiot.

The Mumtaz v Hooper beat down was just as bad. I thought he might be seriously hurt after Hooper landed about 13 unanswered blows while he was turning away and hunching over.

The only warmup Lloyd got was running from the taxi to the change-rooms, and that was conveyed to me from someone who was there. Lloyd was in the changerooms about long enough to have his hands wrapped, and that's all.

Yeah yeah I agree he shouldn't have got in the ring, did Joe know it wasn't going to be televised before he jumped in to the ring.

Yeah Yeah Hooper needs a decent opponent to feed his ego and give him a stiff challenge.

Anyway Joe is from Victoria they breed them tough down there and I haven't heard any brain damage news from the fight.
