If KT had given a good performance or even gotten the ko he would've been able to write his own ticket. He wouldve been the A side in any fight and couldve established his name with the casuals which of course means more ppv sales hence $$$! He not only lost the fight but he lost millions in future earnings. He won't get a rematch so hes now relegated to B side contender status.
I hate saying this... because obviously all boxers are tough as hell... but, relatively speaking, he had all the tools to win tonight, imo he just didnt have the toughness or the next level desire, to take the win that was there for him.
He still holds victories over Porter and Danny. He's still got the best resume at welterweight outside of Pac. He's at minimum the A-side over Mikey, Danny, and Porter (if he loses).
Give pac his due. he is nightmare match. Styles make fights. Keith is a very good fighter not his night
Its that simple to me. Thurman was still fresh enough to press the right when Pac started tiring and taking breaks. But he didnt. Plenty of fighters have taken worse beatings than he did early on to come back and win in the championship rounds. Just imo though.
Keith can't take a body shot whatsoever. It became apparent after the Collazo fight that a good body puncher is Keith's kryptonite. He can still beat the likes of a Danny Garcia but I think Spence would stop him and Crawford would probably do the same. Those 2 guys are vicious with their body attacks.
Guy was never that good to begin with. Garcia fought scared, Porter is sloppy and all his other wins were vs other sloppy brawlers.
