Purdy boxed about as well as he possibly could against Bundu, but was really only competitive after eight rounds or so. From that point, Bundu took over and eventually picked Purdy apart, ground him down, and dropped him onto his back.

It wasn't a life or death firefight, and all things considered, it wasn't that competitive.

I think Thurman-Bundu will be competitive, and if that's the case, it shouldn't be considered a knock against One Time's ability as a fighter.

Very good fight between two lower end top 10 guys in the stacked WW division.

Winners of Thurman/Bundu and Khan/Alexander will both find themselves ranked at 6 and 7 outside the "big 5" (Mayweather, Pac, Bradley, Marquez, Brook).

I know yeah but thats a large bit of the fight , but i mean purdy against devon was as one sided as youll get and he has been beaten by porter and may take another loss against khan. I actually dont mind keith fighting him but its not the step up thats hes been trying to get and this is a guy who kos all the top welterweights in fantasy fights, with a fair bit picking him against pacquio and mayweather, beating bundu doesnt show hes on that level really and its more of the same to a degree even if bundu is underated

Thurman has advantage in age, reach, height, and power.

Bundu is very underrated, he's a live dog in this fight and will be coming to win, he could be the toughest test of Thurman's career, he's got a solid chin, great work-rate, uses the switch hitting style to great effect and has unbelievable stamina and fitness for a man who is nearly 40 years old.

This isn't an easy fight for Thurman at all imo.

Whatever way you try to dress it up, this is not the fight the fans wanted for Thurman.

I agree with this and IMO it's also a horrid fight for Thurman

It's a very risky no win situation

Like many said. Bundu is very underrated.
He's a tough fighter and Thurman could be in trouble.

Bundu might be unknown in the US, but he is a world class fighter. He is quite old (39) but still is very athletic and in top shape.

LOL, he had a damn good amateur career.

Bundu has fought in Europe most of his career? So did Andriy Kotelnik, and Amir Khan. Those two were really easy to beat aswell and we know all Euros fight the same
