Not sure why they would be. He just dominated an undefeated, tough fighter who had been on some good form

I don't believe Bundu's name appears or has ever appeared on any well-recognized top ten list, or any published top ten list, for that matter.

And this is a bit of a problem for Keith's attempt to face someone like Floyd.

He had a good win (a shutout or near shutout) last night, but he's 26 and his opponent was a lesser-known 40 year old.

So far, he has no top-10 scalps and this might prevent him from getting a Floyd match-up.

I do think he's very talented and obviously has some serious power, but I'd like to see how he does against a bigger name.

It was Thurman who played cautious. And rightly so, as he fought to win, and win he did.

But his opponent was the one coming forward more, and when Thurman did engage, he was getting tagged, and that was the ONLY time he was getting tagged.

So long as Keith stayed at distance, he was landing nicely, and near impossible for Bundu to hit.

Bundu did nothing but try and counter. All he landed were little slap shots that won him no rounds and rarely did he even do that. Like I said after the knockdown, Thurman decided to coast and win every round. Showed that he could outbox the boxer on the back foot.

You said all of that in the last post. Nothing new here.

I was responding to your assertion that Bundu was fighting cautiously.

He was to a degree, but Keith was the one who was being most cautious. Bundu wasn't expected to win. He was expected to be KO'd.

Keith WAS expected to win and he WAS expected to get the KO.

He was goaded by the boos and by late rounds, did try a couple of times, notably in round 12, to take the fight to the African-Italian. But every time he became aggressive, Bundu was able to tag him, and that must have worried Keith a bit as he broke off pretty quickly.

He had a winning formula. Stay at range where Bundu can't reach him and land from range. This was a strategy of caution, but it allowed him to win a very wide UD.

He was talking about how he would destroy Mayweather but Jim Grey basically ignored that and fronted him off in the post fight interview by challenging him to call Maidana out. He acted like he didn't want to but after running his mouth, he had no choice. You know Maidana ain't turning down no challenge.

Thurmans defense is leaky as hell, and he's wide open to the overhand right like we saw against Chaves and JSK

What's his age have to do with anything.
Is there some glorious prime that he has passed?

He's as good as he's ever been, and coming off the biggest win of his career

Did you belittle Kovalev for beating a 49 year old?

I've been saying for months on here Thurman is overrated, I was proven right last night, I've also predicted he has a glass jaw, which its only a matter of time before I'm proven right about that as well.

I don't care what the publications have to say on the issue, really.

I could care less if The Ring Magazine and some posters thought Khan was top 10 at WW and Bundu wasn't when it was CLEARLY the other way around before last nights fights.

And I know anyone who has a worthy and consistent opinion who had spoken up directly on that subject agrees with me.

Bundu was top 10. #9 or #10, yeah, but he was still top 10... No agenda here; while I don't dislike them I am not a Thurman fan nor a Bundu fan.

You cannot name me 10 men who deserved to be ranked ahead of Bundu going into the Thurman fight. You just can't... And I would challenge anyone to do it right now if they genuinely don't think Bundu was top 10 at WW.
