It is good. And if you factor in prior weight credentials then I absolutely agree with you.

But how can things that happened at 126 or 175 or 140 qualify when discussing the 147 division rankings? It just isn't possible without being a hypocrite on surface value.

Pound for Pound? Yes, I ranked Khan ahead of Bundu because that factors in his whole career and every weight class of which Khan was great at 140.

At Welterweight (you know, what we've been debating the whole time here)? Hell no, Khan did not rank ahead of Bundu.

To each their own. I can't handle inconsistency from posters is all...

Still thinking people we're not impressed because he didn't get a K.O. No, we've had to put up with all his fanboys talking about him been the best welterweight and everyone's ducking him.

Where is his mix-up, throw combos that mix in body and head, set punches up using feints or mask the projectory, uppercut down the middle to break his guard. How about crossing the jab to hold the opponents glove against their head and looping a punch round the guard, throwing a hook that looks like a body blow and then arch it towards the head. He was clueless against that defense and he apparently use to spar with Winky Wright. How about throwing a hook an anticipating the counter coming and taking measures to nullify/avoid it, nope he just got countered and became timid doing nothing but moving around.

His whole offense was the same **** over and over, he moves around looking for openings, staying out of range, jabbing, some one-twos and hooks.

He also has below average defense beyond staying out of the opponents punch range, a lack of inside fighting so cut the **** with the k.o ****, he won the fight convincingly but he is not as good as the fanboys keep saying, he dominated a normally pretty high volume puncher that got knocked down by the first big punch Thurman landed and from then on practically stopped throwing anything outside of counters. To make it worse Thurman also had almost all the physical advantages and is a very big welter.

Thurman is learning the game. You can't expect a knockout in every fight. I do think he could have gone looking for the ko and took a bit more risks against a non puncher, though.

Although, I think after the 6 round he started being very negative offensively. He had many chances to catch Bundu but didn't throw enough combos. Which was a bit dissapointing.

    WHAT PRIME???

Bundu has NEVER been higher ranked than he was going into the Thurman fight!

Some guys hold their abilities longer. Some guys even get better with age as they may never have really relied on athleticism.

Bundu was a guy who was knocking on the door of the top 10 and coming off the back of a win over a hot prospect.

Thurman didnt just win, he essentially shut him out and dropped him.

Thurman is a victim of his own success. Coming in undefeated with 21 out of the 23 wins coming by knockout, everyone expects a KO; expectations around him are ludicrously high, hence the boos. Indeed if he doesn't get a KO, it seems like a defeat, which is daft. But it is a measure of how highly fans regard him.

Look again at this result - he shutout a 'tough as old boots', undefeated opponent and knocked him down while switched to southpaw - that's not a bad result at all. Bundu hardly threw punches after round 2 cos Thurman hit him so hard, particularly to the body and this made it difficult for opportunities to counter properly and land clean, which is usually Thurman's thing.
