    Thurman's not better than the Mexican ATGs, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Bradley, or Margarito, but given that Pac is almost 41, this is the most dangerous fight of Pac's career.

    Everyone that has picked Thurman to win has done so due to Pac's age and Manny have commented that tonight may be the night that Pac gets (completely) old.

    Thurman will also likely be in the 160s on fight night.

    I'm shocked that Pacquiao has never taken a prolonged beatdown yet in his career. Since hes been fighting guys 3 times his size for over a decade.

    But now hes in his 40s. I worry about Pacquiaos health. How much longer can he go on like this? I dont know.

    It is not just the boxer but also the context. I think the angst for Pacquiao here is similar when a 43 year old Hopkins took on a 26 year old Kelly Pavlik. I think a lot of his thought that BHOP was done. Yet, he not only managed to turn back the clock but he remained relevant for a nearly a decade after.

    I am not saying that I don't want Manny to not live another day but I hope he gets through this fight without damage and hopefully win it. Additionally, I just don't want him to stay in the fight game too long.

    Not a really good comparison. Hopkins is a safety first, risk averse, defensive minded spoiler. And he's afforded a longer shelf life on account of having been a fighter in the higher weight classes. Plus Pac was viciously KO'd at a time when his career should have been winding down.

    Pacquiao should fight the Spence/Porter winner if he takes minimal damage in beating Thurman.

    Win or lose against Spence/Porter, Pac should then fight Mikey or Danny—both guys I have him beating easily.

    THEN... a farewell fight against Lomachenko. God, please. It would be incredible when Pac KOs the P4P #1 in his last fight.

    Will you please stop. Everyone has not picked thurman to win and pacs the favorite in the fight. Many fighters think pac will pull it off more than Thurman actually.

    I believe the Fight Night weights for Pacquiao and Margarito are reversed. Pac has never weighed close to 165. He had a 17 pound functional weight disadvantage. Conversely, he had a 17-pound speed advantage.
