Thurman made it look easy

Danny fought his normal fight. He's a flat footed counterpuncher who has trouble with boxers. His countering is sharp and accurate, his footwork not very good. So Keith came determined to win and outboxed him.

Danny has been outboxed before, by Herrera, by Peterson, by Judah for much of their fight. I also had him losing to Matthysse. But Danny is a star so the judges have always saved him. This time there was another star in the ring, so Danny didn't have that advantage like he usually does.

Still stupid Keith almost did an Oscar and gave away the last three rounds. But tonight Keith fought the best fight of his career. No one got exposed.

 

And Peterson schooled him for 5, then took a rd or 2 off when Danny cut the ring, then proceeded to beat him down for the final 5.

DSG is a good fighter for sure. His wins over Matthysee and Khan deserve him praise. But to me he wasn't no undefeated fighter. Now it's just official

 

I wouldnt disagree with that but thats not what you said. YOu said after round 4 Garcia figured him out and now youre saying Thurman moved too much after the 9th. Well which is it?

Around the 5th round DSG was getting better and figuring out Thurman right hand. Thurman didn't land many clean shots on DSG after the 6th and DSG did a good job of avoiding and slipping punches. But DSG activity so low.

 

So what you mean to say is that "Khan totally dominated him" for 2 rounds. Yipee. That means close to nothing.

 

Garcia could never capitalize on that momentum shift 5-7. Whatever he seemed to have figured out, he let go of and coughed up the next few.
