ok I've just about had it enough with Thurman, first his comments on Spence fight and now this....he sounds like a straight up *****.
Kov was more than happy to give Ward a title shot when Andre moved up. Beating Crawford would give Keith some SERIOUS credibility.

It's the injury. Injuries deliver mental KOs. It just depends on the severity. He may not be the same. If he feels he's anyway different, then that's a weakness. He can't bring that mentality into the ring with him. Don't get me wrong, a lot of people fight injured, but it sucks. I don't really know what else to say. One Time might be done. We might have seen the best of him.

I don’t think he is done, tbh except for Spence and Crawford there is no one who could beat him in that division. However I would have picked those guys against any version of Thurman. He knows now he is the man of the division those guys are gunna be gunning for his head so he will try to milk it for as long as he can until he can’t hold them off anymore.

Crawford was the undisputed 140 pound champion and is a big name in the sport, he should be granted a title opportunity right out the gate if he wanted, so i see an issue with tha statement from thurman.

Dont you think it serves the sport and their wallets better for these fights to build? Let Thurman, Spence and Crawford fight everyone but each other for the next two years and if they remain undefeated it builds up a huge rivalry and demand for these fights. Theyre all young and not going anywhere anytime soon. I think Thurman/Spence happens soon but i think Uncle bob holds off Crawford for a while until the fight is able to generate big money.

Hearns v Hagler. SRR vs LaMotta, Napoles vs Monzon, Walker vs Greb, Griffith vs Tiger, Armstrong vs Walker,
Bobo Olsen vs Archie Moore, etc. As an extra note: Back in the olden days it was basically expected for the Welterweight Champ to go after the MW champ at some time.

The problem with waiting a long time: injury’s, decline, they may lose. I think it’s better to have them fight when they seem to be close to their primes just my opinion. If it’s too young kids like let’s say Davis vs Easter or Valdez vs Verdejo you can wait let them make a name then fight but when it’s guys who have titles are looking dominant, just get it over with.

Spence and Crawford will both beat Thurman and everyone knows it. That's the truth. However it's time for One Time to back up his words and show that he isn't scared to lose.

He doesnt want to but he has to, Haymon has a stranglehold on that division, Thurman Spence, Porter, Garcia, Peterson, Ugas, Diaz all these guys roll with Al.

I have no problem with this. Crawford should take a fight at 147 before getting a shot at Thurman.
