The Americans on here gave Amir absolute hell for fighting Collazo and they had a point to be fair. And these same fans bang on about how great Thurman is. I'm looking forward to reading their comments and excuses to try and justify Keith now fighting Collazo. Karma is putting in some overtime.
All Americans didn't feel that way. I for one thought that Khan / Collozo was a good fight for Khan. However I think that it is just a stay busy fight for Thurman being that none of the top guys want anything to do with him and that includes Brook and Khan. I am also glad that Collazo is getting a pay day because he is a good gatekeeper and gives a fighter some good work.
Well Im Canadian, and am a big Thurman fan, who thought Khan vs Luis was a good fight for Khan because I think Khan is a ****ing bum. But Collazo vs Thurman after Thurman vs Ghost is a damn joke. I get Haymon wants to protect his big names, but this is BRUUUUUUUTAL!!! Thurman should be fighting guys to build his fanbase, not dudes who will be selling popcorn to fans during the opening bouts.
