He can knock out anybody except people that don't get knocked out by anybody, ever. We've no reason to believe otherwise based on either Guerrero or Bundu lasting the distance.

Amazing people on here can't understand this. Thurman is a very good puncher.

Name me some legit savage punchers in all of Boxing today. I can name Wlad, GGG, Kovalev, and there are a few more. That doesn't mean Thurman doesn't have power though. He is at least an 8/10 power wise that isn't too bad at all.

Same can be said about fighters with Iron Chins vs fighters with very good Chins. The difference isn't much but it matters.

He was fighting creampuffs before. Now that he's finally fighting contenders he's not going to ko everyone. He still fights likes he's trying to get the ko throwing every punch with bad intentions. I'm not knocking him, but to say he can knockout anyone except for the guys that don't get knocked out is just funny to me.

This is why I loved 15 rounders... those last 3 separated the good fighters from great..

Guerrero barely beat the count on his knockdown.

Virtually every fighter's knockout ratio drops as the competition raises because the skill level of the opposition is elevated not because you punch any less harder.

No they are just fighters that block punches with their face. Thurman has power, no taking that away from him. I feel if he were to fight the top fighters in his division who is he going to ko? I don't think any.

Look at how they marketing the fight. They kept saying Guerrero had never been ko'd, and Thurman is a ko artist. I think he's got the skill set to do it all, got toe to toe or be slick. The better the fighters he fights the less likely he'll get ko's.

It's natural for a fighter to score less KOs as he steps up his opposition.

Guerrero is past his best days, but he's still a durable sob. Thurman was on the verge of stopping him, but let's not forget, Guerrero also did get to Thurman late in the fight. Guerrero isn't really known for his defense, he was eating all of Thurman's best bombs, someone as durable as Guerrero and that has a decent defense, can capitalize on Thurman's mistakes. I think Thurman is still the most dangerous fighter at 147, but definitely not the best, and just like he has a puncher's chance to get past anyone, he can also get exposed. But I'm definitely on the bandwagon, he's not afraid to lose, he can box and go toe to toe, he's mostly all action. He doesn't have to be the best boxer or puncher, but he's very persistent in looking for different ways to win a fight, sign of greatness and he does everything very well. He'll be tough to beat and perhaps he can be the Lloyd Honeyghan to Floyd's Donald Curry. Thurman is definitely a beast, a calculating one.

Not really... GGG is just one of the rare fighters who will just take your soul.

Some guys can just flat out bang. He's one of them.

Thurman did a great job, Guerrero isn't a nobody, he is quite good.
