Anyone in the know here? Jimmy Tibbs not running Saunders' corner tonight against Akavov and coincidentally Saunders is looking poor. I have it level so far after four rounds.
Something clearly has gone terrible wrong, awful performance from BJS, he is capable of a lot more than that.
BJS admitted post fight he was not motivated, barely did any sparring and was out of the ring too long. He needs another fight in 3-4 months to burn away the ring rust. A different voice may help but the buck stops with him
Tibbs I'm guessing knows his man doesn't live the life and looks like he's not giving him 100% so b4 he gets sparked from his next top level opponent he has walked away.
No idea. Danny Vaughan was there too but he wasn't giving Billy Joe advice during the rests. The guy he was looked very young, in his late 20s tbh and was telling Billy Joe that he was winning rounds which he was either losing or which were very close.
I said in the RBR thread that he could have just asked Peter Fury to run his corner. If he has split with Tibbs I think Peter Fury would be good for him.
