**** all wrong with watching the fight it's the documentary made on Gerald ten years later that is the gut checker , Francis Julian v G-man 1 was a great fight . As was Jackson v Graham .

 

I loved the Hawks afro flattop haircut.

 

Yeah I remember at the time there was a lot of talk of G-Man fighting RJJ. At that time though no one could touch Roy.

 

Thoroughly enjoy watching all the top fights from this era.

Just under 10,000 would be a sellout for a boxing event at the Entertainment Centre.

The amounts pubs/clubs pay varies from fight to fight depending on who it is.
Green would have charged a 4 figure amount for this im sure of it...will try get the exact price.

 

This era & some of the 80's stuff across so many weights were top draw...Welterweight & Middleweight...hell just thinking about it Cruiserweight too.

 

Whats the name of the doco m8? i enjoy docos, especially the Ledgendary nights ones by HBO. Bright Lights was also another good one, watched that many i cant remember them all but id be intrested in checking out one i havent see if you can provide the name. :good

 

Been a fan since the late 60's mate but the era and weights you mention has to be one of the most banging times in the history of the sport , Ty it's been a few years since I saw it just search YouTube for Geralds doc it's probably still there but be warned if the though of watching the fight depresses you then you might just want to leave it alone .
