Tickets for AJ v Parker snapped up by the Touts Again

This still doesn't work and is rarely enforced anyway according to someone I know who makes a VERY healthy living doing this.

 

Isn't this monopolistic behavior?
Where are the handcuffs for StubHub and Hearn.

If Matchroom cant handle the volume of calls/orders for tickets they should just hand over ALL tickets to Stubhub who in return sell them for a nominal booking fee of say 10%...

a 10% mark up on 70,000 tickets is more than enough to be making from 1 event

What Stubhub are charging now it nothing but extortion ,i cannot believe the prices i am seeing..

What i cannot understand is why Hearn doesnt just charge double the price himself ??although i suppose he is in a roundabout way as Stubhub are a Matchroom sponsor!!! I would like to see the contract between them both,it really does STINK

 

It is a pisstake. It's one thing a promoter/fighter/artist/group being unable to do anything about the secondary ticket market but it's a completely different thing for a fighter/promoter/group/ artist to be in a partnership with a company that's existence is based on scalping money from fans.

 

Waited in the queue and got tickets quite easily and know a few people who had the same experience as me. I haven't had a problem getting tickets at face value on Stub Hub but of course I've seen loads of tickets on resale too but I think a lot of that comes from people trying to take advantage of demand and make some money out of it.

 

Its hearn and mr humble robbing the fans lol

 

They had 90,000 at ringside for Vlad/ Joshua, why only 70,000 for Joshua/Parker?

 

Cardiff is a smaller stadium

 

What I really struggle to understand is who pays the overinflated tout fees to watch boxing from miles away in a stadium? Mugs!

 

You problem think smack dealing is alright too. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. Doing something you know is wrong because you can says a lot about the person's character IMO.

 

Would I do it? No. But you can't complain when idiots pay the prices. Simple as don't be but them and they will stop.

 

Its not just the tickets...we tried booking hotels the other day and the cheapest we could get was £225. Now thats scandalous

 

I think I can complain. I understand why it happens but that doesn't make it right.
