According To Timothy Bradley, the 339 tickets talk is rubbish and 2400 Tickets have been sold.

It does make a bit of sense. 339 does seem a tad too low to be believable. Good news though.

Anything that does more than Berto/Quintana is a success in my eyes.

still kind of low for a unification match but its definetely better than the only 300 seats sold report earlier

  4. Still low bouts like these should have 15-20k

"It is a noble cause. Unfortunately, there probably won't be a lot of money because the crowd was sparse. The attendance was not announced, for obvious reasons, but there couldn't have been more than 3,000 or so in the cavernous BankAtlantic Center." Dan Rafael

Wasn't that with giveaway tickets? I seem to remember them only selling 900 tickets? Maybe it was another Berto fight.

:good I had just read the quote you put.

  13. that would be unfair to bradley though, but yeah with a better venue and good promotion it could have easily gone pass 10k

41fever, Bradley is not a draw at all. Peoples expectations are too high for fighters like Bradley and Alexander who are new to tv viewers or not so hardcore fans. People also forget that fighters like*SRL vs Benitez did about 5k and Hagler vs*Antuofermo did the same. If the fight gets viewers+it's good, the rematch will most definitely be better.
