How much training does the average pro do between fights. For example if a fighter's last bout was a month ago and they have nothing signed how much training do they do and at what intensity?

Depends greatly on the fighter I think pal. Someone like Hatton obviously doesn't do much but someone like Mayweather normally does quite a lot of gym work. I'd say maybe 3 times a week for a couple of hours would be decent? Just a guess really, open for anyone to correct

I agree, depends on the fighter. Some are gym rats who stay in shape all year, then do specific training for each individual opponent (Mayweather, Wlad are good examples).

Others take that time off (Hatton, Arreolla, Tua) very likely.

Id guess many probably do some maintenance training just in case opportunity knocks.

Ive always found, the Proffesional that acts Proffessional, performs Proffessionaly. What you try to avoid is Boredom, thats the biggest problem, plus knowing when enougth is enougth.
