    That it is. :thumbsup

I however see the perspective that your presenting more less as a positive spin. Something that the media and politicians are very good at. :D

That's actually not completely true. Floyd was just going to potshot and outbox Hatton, then around the 6 round Roger saw how Floyd could make it a easier fight if he stood in the pocket with Hatton. He told Floyd inbetween rounds that he doesn't have to run around, stand in there and beat his ass. How he is better at in fighting. Something like that. And that's exactly what Floyd did from that point on.

  3. No, all that means is - you're saing Pac's the favourite going into the fight. The tide can't be swigging or swinging or whatever in Pac's favour now, if all those things you've quote happened in the past. If something significant happens between now and the fight - then you can say the tide is changing.

Hatton has the footspeed/work to stay with Pac at all times. He'd really let himself down if he gets out manouvered. Both let their hands go and have leaky defences. Given their good trainers it will be interesting to see who has the advantage here. I hope Hatton manipulates him physically. I think he is the better physical fighter. Pac might get range on him but Hattons got to make sure he has a good jab and right hand as he works his way in to his get his advantage.

I think May 2nd I'll have to go to the sports bar in London for this. Its huge!

No its not a trap, many people are picking Hatton much moreso than lets say a month ago. He will be a slight favorite in this fight by fight time.

I say its 50/50 but I wont make excuses for Pac..

Hatton is a bit overrated generally. However, he is not overrated within this fights context.

I made this thread so that there are no more excuses, this is boxing not chess

What excuse?, didnt I just wrote that there are no excuses. Hatton being the bigger man is a FACT. I was being very lenient when I said 170, he is way beyond that. I believe that Pac is the smaller but superior fighter, that makes the weight advantage a wash. Hatton if he wins is a better fighter than PAc at 140 and vice versa.

hatton is the bigger man, but just because he eats too much and gets fat between fights, doesn't mean that's his natural weight.

This simply is a fight that has meaning. Who are we to already suggest a reason for defeat for either man. I am sure whatever the outcome the victor as well as the defeated man will show nothing but respect for the sport. What a fight cant wait
