If I had to list some fighters I underrate and likely underappreciate Flower is definitely one of them. Sorry I cant really help IB...but you will get some good responses soon I imagine.
Well about a month or so ago, Tiger Flowers made the semi finals of an all time middleweight tournament held on ESB, so i think that he is still highly rated by most on the ESB board.
yeh he made it to the Semi's in a very interesting tournament taht was poised for an upset but Monzon finally won out would love to learn more on Flowers though

Probably robbed against Walker. First black man to hold a title since Johnson and probably allowed to do so due to his devout relgiosity. Became a lay preacher after his retirement. Jack Delaney fighting as a middleweight owned this guy! Delaney wound up being called the greatest light heavyweight I ever saw by both Grantland Rice as well as Benny Leonard!
