I had a couple of pots with lunch so if I've got this wrong I'll blame the booze.

'Tiger' Tim Bell's next opponent has a very unique record! On face value you'd have to say that 17 wins (12 by KO) and 1 loss from 18 fights is very impressive.

    Have a closer look though....

17 of his 18 opponents hadn't won a fight when they met this guy! The only guy with a win of their record when he met them KOed him in the 1st round!! What the...........

Let me guess Brazilian or Colombian..something like that?

You dont know with those blokes..generally they have impressive ko records but can get very easily knocked out themselves.

Often possess a very wild, kill or be killed style.

Also either the record keeping in that country is terrible or they basically just let anyone fight..He could be alright but Id be expecting an early night for Tiger.

Yeah, I agree on an early night, and very likely Tiger's way.

His scheduled opponent is a Brazilian by the name of Marcelo Leandro Da Silva - http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=340098&cat=boxer in BoxRec.

I've never seen a record like this bloke's before - 18 of his opponents have a combined 26 fights between them, and not a single win, not one!!

The only guy he's fought with a single win on his record Koed the guy in 1 minute 30.

    I guess he's got a puncher's chance...but what a record!

Couldhave go to the ratings section on boxrec and look up the ratings for a few divisions for Brazilian fighters.

I reckon you find a few more like that.

You're right Rock - hadn't been in the Ratings section before - there's some eye openers in there.

Saw an active, 41 year old Brazilian with a shocker of a record - 2 wins, 55 losses, and been KOed 31 times. This guy should have his own ambulance waiting ringside with the engine running!
