Could Tiger ever find a way past King Carlos' long reach?

Possibly. Tiger is one of those fighters you can never count out, like Hopkins or Azumah Nelson. Just when you think you have him figured out, he often finds a way to surprise you.

However, I'd favor Monzon to use his reach and boxing ability to keep Tiger at bay enough to win on points.

Some boxing writer back in the 60's said "a good trombone player could beat Dick Tiger", meaning of course that to continually jab and box was the apparent formula for winning a decision over Tiger. Monzon had, of course, a very long and rather hypnotic jab, and would have used it successfully in outboxing and outpointing Tiger ala Briscoe, over 15 rounds.

Monzon plays out some beautiful music on his trombone which carries him gracefully to a ud.
