For an already aging fighter like Morales to have fought Barrera and Pacquiao back to back was crazy. The only reason his fight with Pacquiao wasn't fight of the year was because of Corrales/Castillo. Morales was a gem.

 

There's a whole lot of confusion, and uncertainty surrounding this case.

I'm not going to dis-credit Margarito.

Because 99.9% of the world of ****ing boxing, still dose'nt know what the **** was on his gloves.

Why can't they show picture evidents on the news..?

:good Same here. I couldn't condemn someone without knowing the whole story, but we got some cynical *******s on these boards.

 

The whole incident was investigated by the California State Athletic Commission and he was banned from boxing for a year, so i think we can rule out him having socks in his gloves.

They also concluded that Margarito seemingly wasn't aware of the inserts, but they punished him because in their own words, "The fighter is the captain of the ship, he must take responsibility". Let me guess, that's not good enough for you to conclude that Margarito was oblivious to the controversy?

The California State Athletic Commission didn't even notice anything wrong with the gauze, it was Nazim Richardson, so we can pretty much assume that the Commission were ****ing clueless in this case.

 

Him and Barrera were both throwbacks, didn't take any **** and ducked absolutely nobody. Two great warriors.

why did'nt they show picture evidence on the news and break it down, so fans could understand.

Kool, I could be wrong, but they found a piece of knuckle pad that was hardened. The only problem is we have conflicting stories. Nazim says it was very hard whereas Mosley said otherwise. Shane also said that it was possible Margarito wasn't aware of anything.

 

I never said anything about Margarito being aware/unaware of the inserts. The post i responded to was querying what was in his wraps. All i said was that if the Commission deemed a one year ban from the sport fitting then we could safely assume it wasn't a pair of socks that fell out in front of Nazim.

I'm in agreement with you, i think there's a big grey area with this case that could do with being properly cleared up so either way we can move on from it.

Primadonna is absolutely right, considering the severity of the issue, why is there still uncertainties? He just wants to see photographs of what the hell was supposed to have been found, he's not suggesting nothing was wrong.

 

I'm not saying there's anything but people on The GF in a thread a while back argued over it. It's the fact it looks like plaster chipped off i think,
