What do you make of this young fighter? He just beat Kid Diamond few weeks back.

I haven't seen him. Impressive win though. What's his style? I take it he's your typical Mexican? :D

He's far from a typical Mexican. In fact he fights nothing like your bad ass Tijuana fighter. He's a tall rangy boxer puncher with respectable punching power in both fists. He's also a southpaw and his best punch is the right hook to the body. Ive seen him many times on shobox and i was never blown away but he's a solid fighter and he has a future. Im wondering how he'll fit in against other youn guns like Peterson, Funeka, and Presscott.

I see. Cheers for the info.

So you think we have another contender at 135 to add to the mix?

QUintero impressed the **** out of me. Man he seems to be the real deal. He destroyed Casal much earlier than Demarco did. I can't believe Casal just quit like that.

He reminded me a lot of Andy Lee but with a slightly better defense

i'll be honest i could name several fighters at 135 that would have done what demarco did to kid diamond in similar or quicker fashion, diamond lost his last 2 fights unofficially against journeyman, i always knew he'd loose once he fought any 1 half way decent

The kis is tall and rangy for a LW.

Can punch like hell he has good stamina and can take a shot.

I like him, he has a fighters heart but working on his boxing skills.

    Look out for this kid.

He looked good but let's not make it out like he dominated Diamond. The fight was close on cards before that torrential 9th round where he battered Kid Diamond around. Great fight actually.

I think he's a solid fighter but I'll reserve judgement until later on.

DeMarco looked good everytime I seen him on ShoBox..... He's a young rangy guy... I think after a couple of fights, he'll be title ready....
