Every fighters resume is deconstructed intensely on this board.

Guys like Floyd and Calzaghe catch complete hell because the biggest names on their resumes were past prime. But hey at least they beat Corrales, Hatton, Castillo and Kessler who were top notch fighters at the top of their games.

Bradley is a stand up guy so people are hesitant to critique him and his resume.

But in the interest of fairness, what are his best win or wins prime for prime?

Obviously it woulbe be Pacquaio, but there will always be an asterisk, right or wrong.

JMM, Abregu, Provo, Peterson, Alexander ...off the top, are all good wins.

Firstly, The difference you're seeing in the way opinion on these guys is probably based on the fact that the guy took risks. He fought tougher competition than he HAD to. Sure, part of it is circumstance.

There really should be no way to lump Mayweather and Calzaghe together. As great as each guy was, Mayweather's resume is far and away superior. (Just look and compare the # of world class wins, over multiple weight classes) However, Calzaghe didn't always seem to have the need to have everything in his favor. Also could be attributed to circumstance.

To be fair, you shouldn't lump Floyd mayweather junior who is arguably one of the 20 greatest fighters who ever lived to Joe Calzaghe who spent the majority of his career sequestered in the uk taking on bums.

Calzaghe deserves the criticism he gets, not mayweather.

True Mayweather is a better fighter but the biggest names on their resumes were past prime. Jones Jr, Hopkins, Mosley, Pac, Marquez were their biggest names. None were at their best though.

That's the similarity I was drawing.

Bradley never beat Pac, so I don't count that as a scalp. Bradley's best win is Marquez. Marquez may have been past prime, but Marquez's doping era made that version of him the most dangerous ever. Very few welterweights aside from Pac, Floyd, and Bradley could have handled Marquez from 2011 - 2012.

Timmy is not getting similar criticism to Floyd, Wlad or Calzaghe because noone claims he's the TBE or an ATG top10. He has one of the best resumes of recent years, one of the toughest and one of the best skilled fighters of the recent years. That's all.

Floyd is a doping cheat, though.

A 40 year old featherweight and Pacquiao, Norwood and Chris John leftover is your best win?
