Khan could draw 7,000 people in his last fight, bradley could draw even less, ppv figures would show at this stage that it would not be a big unification fight as what is suggested, Bradley warned you guys of the same thing when we rushed him to fight Devon for a unification and we know how that went down.

If these guys are going to be the future they need time to develop not only themselves but also their drawing power understanding the business.

I know a lot of fans won't want to hear this but boxing is a business and there is a hell of a lot of money to be made.

If floyd would have got his wish and fought Hatton and cotto at 140, would it have been the same hype and potential money as floyd fighting them at 147?

You think they are going to stay undefeated for 2 years?its most likely that bradley has been promised a fight by arum vs pacquiao, thats why he ducks khan tells us fans to go **** ourselfs if we dont like it.
Pacquiao knocks him out next year then khan wont fight him anyway.

Well Khan already has a loss but yes you are right pac would beat bradley and bradley would have a loss but a big pay day and so would khan have a loss when he loses to mayweather. So they both in the same boat, they reached a level they were not quite ready for.

They can continue to clean up WW division while pac v floyd either fight or retire, then have a big mega fight at 147.

There are a lot of other good fighters at 147 by that time, I think ortiz and berto both beat khan and bradley at 147 as well, its like arums cake that burned down when juanma lost, its not that bradley wants make this fight bigger its that he just waits for pacquiao and the big money.
They should take his belts give them to the maidana vs guerrero winner and let that guy fight khan in december.

No, Shaunster. You don't get it. It's not ducking, it's a "smart business move".

Which is why they should attempt to clean the WW once pac v floyd retire then fight.

We have Ortiz, Brook, Bradley, Khan, Mike Jones, Berto, Aydin.

Khan and Bradley could easily once again end up the two best in that division and settle the score at WW.

Bradley isn't a business man, if he was, he would know no one outside of those who follow boxing even know who he is. A fight and a win over Amir Khan would build his profile with the public, Manny/Floyd aren't going to fight a no mark like Bradley who headbutts.

Why risk losing a 5-6m payday by taking 1-2m to fight Khan? For the fans we want Khan-Bradley but most of us would aim for the biggest payday if we were in their shoes. If Manny doesn't fight Mayweather next and Mayweather doesn't fight Khan, Bradley will get his payday against 1 of the other because there is no one else (assuming both FMJ/Pac win)

RexRapper 1, can you edit this into your first post:

Cathedral City boxer Timothy Bradley said Sunday that Amir Khan is not part of his plans moving forward, thinking a bout for the undisputed 140-pound championship won't attract the attention it deserves.

“I'm in a good position now and I want to take full advantage of it,” Bradley said. “I have other interests I'm trying to get to. Khan is not in that plan.”

Khan defeated Zab Judah with a fifth-round knockout Saturday night to add the Judah's IBF light welterweight title to his WBA title. Bradley owns the other two major belts, the WBC and WBO titles.
Originally, there were negotiations for Khan to fight Bradley rather than Judah on Saturday, but Bradley turned down the fight. The amount Bradley would have made was reported in the range of $1.4 million to $1.8 million, which would have been the largest payday of his career.
In the leadup to the Khan-Judah fight, Bradley was heavily criticized for not taking the fight. And Bradley knows he'll continue to get criticized for not being interested in a potential December matchup.

“Like I said, I'm looking for the bigger fish, the bigger fights — the Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather fights,” Bradley said. “I've paid my dues, I've done more than anyone at 140. I've done exactly what I've wanted to do.

“I know there will be a lot of criticism from everyone. But that won't bother me. I'm going to do what I'm going to do. I'm going to do what's best for my family and my career. Bash me all you want, I'm eating over here. I'm happy and that's pretty much it. I'm not worried about anyone.”

As for now, Bradley has other issues he has to deal with, such as the lawsuit filed in Florida by his former co-promoters, Gary Shaw and Ken Thompson. If the lawsuit is settled, then Bradley would have to look for a new promoter.

Bradley was asked if Golden Boy Promotion, which represents Khan, were to call and offer a large amount of money to fight, would he take it. Bradley said that scenario is unlikely.

So why isn't Bradley a ppv attraction yet? You need more than belts to achieve mainstream recognition. Bradley knows this.

The Pacweather fight that he's hoping for, won't happen for another 12 months. What's he planning on doing in the mean time?

Avoiding the best fighter in his division in order to stay undefeated.
