Another Mayweather wanna be, safety-first bore who hits about as hard as my gran. I hope this trend stops and stops soon. That was a sh*t fight. :-(

He gave us a fight of the year this year by going to war to appease you stupid fans and now you are back again. He shouldnt have bothered and you shouldnt have bothered watching

I never understand why so-called boxing fans only want high action. In boxing, typically the best fighters are those with skills. If you want to see just action, then arent club fights really awesome for that goal? But in professional prize-fighting, you're going to encounter very skillful fighters. It's just the way it is. Maybe boxing isnt all the way for you.

I don't only want high action. He was so in control he could have easily been a bit more pro-active, though. He could have landed that right hand at will all night but no, he's happy to flick the jab all night. Boring as f*ck, even if you do try and pretend to yourself that you find this kind of style exciting.

And by the way, it's these borefests that turn people on to the dreadful UFC sh*t.

Bradley vs Mayweather will be a good staring contest, though.

Bradley needed to let his hands go in such a high profile fight. He would not have gained many fans last night.....

Yes i do find it exciting. I love seeing how fighter's stick to a beautiful mapped-out game plan (which is what Bradley had). It takes commitment, intelligence and mental strength. He flicked the jab out because it allowed him to maintain ring generalship and force Marquez to fight a fight that he didnt want to fight. And I also love seeing ring generalship. I find this incredibly exciting, but probably more intellectually exciting than super adrenaline exciting. But i guess Im a little bit crazy in your world.

I don't believe you actually think that. Unless jabs excite you. It's okay to admit it wasn't exciting, you know. Call it technically good, brilliant ring generalship or whatever you want - it wasn't ****ing exciting and everyone knows it.

And 'intellectually exciting'. What pompous nonsense. :rofl

I dont really like potshotters or runners. But you cant blame them.
What they are doing is within the rules. In first person shooter videogames we call them campers.Boring but effective.

I've never sparred in my life and 99% of fans probably haven't. So what? It's one thing to appreciate skills but I wont have people pretending to be excited by that sh*t that was served up last night.

To say something excited me intellectually is pompous? How the fcuk is a statement like that perceived as arrogant? You are obviously from the poorer neck of the woods.

I just think there are those who only want action and they (you) belong in the club watching drunks beat on each other. In prizefighting, it is about being artful and being skilful, as well as being strong and tough. But I get that braindead people dont understand art generally, much less in the form of a sport.
