Feed Pac? Pac is with Haymon.

And pretty sure Arum didn't want to risk Crawford against Pac at the time despite what he says. What good would it be to him if a guy about to leave him beats his future cash cow?

    You're missing the irony.

I totally agree with you. I feel one reason why Crawford signed with top rank Was to duck all the other top welterweights.

Another thing to admire about Al Haymon is that unlike fellow Harvard graduate Bob Arum ( yesterday I was lying, today I am telling the truth!) , he is not trying to be the star of the show. He does not seek the fame rather he pays his guys the most money, stays in the background and works his ass of for them. Haymon is pro fighters. The reason why is because his older brother was a boxer who he saw promoters and managers rip off and swore to change things if he got into boxing. Think about it have you ever heard a fighter speak badly about Al Haymon? The only thing I hear fighters say is praise for Al Haymon. A fighter I co-managed once when I could no longer attend to his career sent me a contract from Al Haymon’s company to manage him. After I reviewed it I could not advise him quickly enough other than to sign immediately. Ever since I have been a Haymon supporter. The people who hate Haymon are promoters and the irony is Al Haymon is a boxing manager not a promoter. Look at someone like Amir Khan despite his losses has made close to $50 Million being advised by Haymon.

People should also remember that Tank and Loma are not fighting in the same division. I have no doubt that Tank’s speed and power will hand Loma a loss. Loma has been put on the deck and he has lost so far from unbeatable.

Boxers have a short shelf life. Haymon was not offering Crawford anywhere near the signing money that Arum was. So Crawford took the money and he made 5.5 mil for the last fight. At the end of the day Arum, Haymon nor any of you bemoaning the "dumb move" really give a **** about Crawford's future. He was smart enough to take care of himself. As for now freezing him out, it is the boxing fan the suffers and eventually the paying public will get tired of second tier matches and demand the best fight the best. How long will it be before Haymon sheds some of his "talent"? He can't keep them all happy

You think Uncle Al would have made Crawford Spence? I'm not convinced he would.

I think Uncle Al definitely would when it’s a bigger money fight in about 12 months time

If Crawford was with Uncle Al Haymon he would have made more money for the Khan fight. Al would have made it a bigger promotion probably had the fight in the UK in a stadium with a bigger live gate to push pay per view numbers. I suspect the ESPN pay per view numbers were poor.

Eventually yes. He would have both and it would be a huge fight so why wouldn't he?

He seems happy not to make the fights fans want and let his guys sit on the shelf fighting one underwhelming fight a year for a decent purse.

It appears Thurman is fighting Pacquiao this summer while Spence is going to fight Porter. Both fights likely will be on PPV.

Crawford should've signed with the PBC.

And Jermall Charlo should have signed with DAZN.
    Every top middleweight is there.

But PBC fans are REAL quiet about that.

Leave race out of this **** man. The issue is with 2 major things:
    1. even his guys aren't completely fighting one another. OK, they are getting paid to do next to nothing. Why is that good for you?
    2. Freeze outs aren't OK no matter who does them. That only hurts fans, which you are one of.

BTW, what did Arum do that was the same as this?

If haymon has no fighters at 160 then he would be better suited to sign with them. Unlike alot of people i have no problem calling it like it is. If that means leaving haymon to sigh with dazn then so be it. I want to see fights get made. I also hsve been critical of the way haymon promoted the charlo twins before.
