“Styles make fights and on any given night, you know you might be in there with the wrong style and you might get beat. We should do a round-robin. I should get a shot at Amir, Devon should get a shot at Amir. He should get a shot at Maidana and I should get a shot at Maidana. Like back in the old days, with ‘Sugar’ Ray Leonard, Tommy Hearns and Marvin Hagler. They all went at it a couple of times.. Alexis Arguello and Aaron Pryor, they went at it a couple of times. Let’s do that, the best fighting the best. Muhammad Ali fought Joe Frazier three times. That’s what boxing needs to bring it back.”

    love it

now i hope the actions back up the talk

  2. Bradley has a great attitude. I dont think khan and alexander will be on board with this one they are planning to move up.khan just wants the winner. I think bradley will be the one who ends up fighting the other 3 guys.

    Completely agree with the quote.

But, unless we are running into a proud era of boxers, who truly fight for more than money, I highly highly doubt, that the best of the best will consistently fight each other, unless all the paychecks are injected with massive amounts of steroids.

Great quote and attitude from Bradley, but those days of boxing are LONG gone.

bradley is whats right about boxing, he'll be a force for the next 4 years
    trust

  7. bradley should stick to 140 and dominate it for a few years. He is only 5.6 he might eventually fight at welter but he would be like pac there way shorter. Its better to stick to 140.

Cant see Khan being down with that, he seems to be looking for the big bucks, fast track to the top. Khan wants Mayweather, but I doubt he's willing to jeopardize that with fights against Bradley &! Devon, he will take either or, depending on who wins.

Really good attitude from him. I'd certainly love to see this kind of extended series happen. I'm sure Bradley, Khan and Maidana would be up for it and I hope Alexander would be too. If guys like Ortiz and Kotelnik can win big fights, maybe they could come into the equation too.

An extended series would be tremendous.

Exactly what needs to happen with these guys, especially with their varying styles. Khan the speedy and talented out-fighter, Bradley the well-rounded boxer, Alexander the rangy boxer-puncher, and Maidana the rough around the edges slugger with power in both hands.

Having all of these matches and rematches could make these guys into actual stars to be remembered in the years to come. Exciting fights create followings, and links between opponents with stylistic match-making will allow a hype to be created around the division that could do wonders for the sport.

Imagine if Bradley beats Alexander, goes on to maybe lose to Khan in a great match, Maidana rematches Ortiz with the winner getting at a shot at a fight/rematch with Khan, Alexander possibly fights JMM with the winner fighting for a match/rematch with Bradley maybe leading to Khan, who fights Judah for the ****in hell of it...

Endless possibilities! Hell even the lesser touted fighters like Ortiz, Judah, Rios, and the Petersons would liven up things.
