    Its pretty simple.

    - Alexander has been trying to secure this fight for awhile now
    - Shaw even mocks how bad Alexander wants the fight
    - Bradley leaves 140
    - Bradley then says 'Im leaving because nobody will fight me'

I have a problem with every one of those so why wouldnt i get on Bradleys case?

I dont care when HBO is interested in the fight, all it takes is for Bradley and team to say 'ya no doubt, were gonna get this fight on but HBO was looking at the fall so im gonna take a stay busy fight and me and Devon can unify this division in our next fight after'

    But thats not the case....

good for Bradley. He is using his brain... let the demand for these big fights build up and they will get paid very nicely for them. No point in letting the best fight the best when they are all so young. There are plenty of other options for everyone

Bradley will come back to 140, and Team Alexander doesn't want that fight right now. They've been sending mixed signals for months now. Bradley is not fighting chumps, he's been fighting good fighters. That trend will continue. Guys like Bradley should be applauded. It's no wonder these fighters don't care about the fans, the fans turn on them at the drop of a dime.

Not sure there is any probably about it , any fight involving any active fighter along side Mayweather or Pacquiao will be a career high payday , Bradley for me is a legit option for both men underneath Berto , then you have the 54 contingent , if Martinez can make 54 he in my mind is the best fighter outside of Pac & May therefore he'd be my #1 pick as a fan followed by Berto and then Bradley !!!!!

In answer to your question i think Alexander was tied up was he not when Maidana pulled out , therefore Abregu was one of few options for Bradley .

Thats the worst mentality in boxing though m'man!

And lets really break down these so called options.

Alexander - well, the 'champion' and 'number one guy' in the division wont fight him, (which is fine to fans like you) so hes being denied his chance to prove hes the best and secure the division as his, so lets go explore his 'other options' that are so plenty out there like you say.

*Ortiz - nope, why? 'too young' - 'lets make it build'
*Khan - nope, why? Ask roach.
*Maidana - nope, was just getting out of problems so Alexander had to take a different route, maybe then can fight after hopefully

The list goes on, people assume there are all these fair options because 140 has so many names, but the thing theres not as many options as there seems.

Not sure about not having anyone else to fight given the amount of press about Alexander and Miadana calling him out. But he did say that he wanted to build up the fght with Alexander which is actully smart IF....both men can continue to win. that's not a gurantee so Tim is gambling.

Nobody is 'turning' on Bradley, fans are just voicing their opinion on that they think whats going on right now is bull**** in a thread stating he cant get any fights at 140. I still like Bradley, hes a fine fighter and one of my fav fresh fighters, but his and shaws antics are starting to get irritating, and im calling it like it is.

Where is the source that team alexander doesnt want the fight right now? Thats a pretty big statement.

As of June 16, transcripts from a Shaw interview he said
Q: Gary, what are your thoughts?

Gary Shaw: Exactly what everybody else said. This gives us another opportunity. If he beats Carlos Abregu we move up to 147 if there’s a fight there with Pacquiao or Mayweather. And if not, there is Devon Alexander, who does nothing but talk about Timmy Bradley from morning until when he goes to sleep with his trainer.

And if there’s enough money at 147 and he shows he can handle the weight and he’s comfortable and Mosley is there, Berto is there, or Pacquiao or Mayweather, then he’ll fight them. If not, we know Devon Alexander is sitting there by his dog bone, panting.

So besides the fact that fatass is mocking how much Alexander is trying to get at this fight, hes pretty much saying a fight with Alexander is right there to be had. Im sure if Alexanders people 'didnt want it right now' he would have said something to that effect.

And in Alexander interview from earlier this month, he had said hed still be willing to be the one that fights Bradley in July. Now, i realise theres a buisness side to this too and that if HBO doesnt have a july date then thats all there is, but doesnt mean there arent ways of doing this as well, like i said, saying they are going to fight on the next date offered by HBO.

and again, when both sides pretty much are open to the fact that Alexander wants this fight, its going to take more then some statement that Team Alexander doesnt want the fight right now for it to be taken seriously. Any sources on that?

Ya, Bradley has fought some good solid contenders, and that continues even in his next fight. Im not here to drag his name through the mud or insult him or anything like that. Im saying i think people are overestimating his value as a fighter, and what hes really done up till this point doesnt warrant him to have the attitude that he can just blow off a fellow champion and number two guy in his own division.

him saying hes leaving his division because nobody will fight him is bull****, and that he should be fighting Devon Alexander, a guy whos waiting for his chance at fighting the number one ranked guy in his division.

Alexander has earned his right to fight Bradley, and he should be given his chance if he wants it, which he does.

Its not the end of the world, and the fights will probably happen down the line, doesnt mean i dont think this is bs and gonna call it like that.

That being said, his next fight is not some easy fight eather, im not saying hes taking easy fights, im saying what hes saying is crap and that him and his team often do double talk, and that he should be fighting Alexander. If it happens next, great.... i will be praising both fighters as usual. If not, there will be the usual people defending the move, and ill probably go into another thread titled on how nobody will fight Bradley and make the same posts. Doesnt mean im turning on him or disliking him, but that im getting fed up with the double talk from him and team.

I cut out alot of stuff from your post that I didn't even feel like reading. Anyway, when I say Alexander didn't want the fight right now, I mean that his people wanted to take a fight after the Urango fight(which is Kotelnik) before fighting Bradley. Bradley's side and HBO wanted to do the same, so I don't see the problem. You have Bradley's promoter saying Bradley will be fighting May, Pac, Mosley, Berto, or Alexander next. Now how could anyone complain about that? What exactly is the problem here? I don't get it. You act like this guy is about to leave the division for good. He's going up for this fight because there was no credible 140 lb. opponent available. He'll only stay at 147 if he can get a big name in there with him.

Timothy seems to think that he's entitled to the upper echelon big money fights which is hard to comprehend considering that his signature victory to date is Kendell Holt.

It's obvious that he and Alexander still have a ways to go in the marketability department. It's also pretty clear that the fastest and most logical path in achieving this goal is threw each other.

I'm sure HBO wants to build up Bradley a little before fighting Alexander. He's not scared of Alexander. It's business. He'll whip Alexander's ass within the next year.

I agree completely. Anybody who is willing to publicly declare that one black man would defeat another in a boxing contest is quite clearly an anti-semite.

    For shame

Can't blame him though, out of the big 3 of 140 he has the smallest chance to win.
