No idea what you're raving about, Leon.

Anyway this could be good for bradley. Take out some bums at 47, maybe take on a couple of the bigger names like margarito or something, make some cheddar...

I like Tim as a fighter but if he really said that he's a *****...He is clearly ducking Alexander...

You think the older guys @ 147 would be an easier fight for him than the youngsters @ 140?:think

can you explain what you mean? I actually favour Alexander over Bradley although I think Bradley's a better overall fighter. You don't think he'd beat Maidana or do you mean Khan as no.3?

I totally get where you coming from man, and maybe in time i will agree with you. But at the moment i just think that in terms of the long term health of the sport that we love, spacing out these big fights is perhaps better than getting them all over and done with before any of these guys even hit their primes. In their careers they may in fact be each others biggest tests and i would hate to see that when both of them are not really established enough for the general public to take note.

Consider this. Tim Bradley moves up and maybe fights and beats a couple of top 10-15 guys and also a name like a Joshua Clottey or a Shane Mosley etc etc. All the while Devon perhaps whips Maidana and Oritz as well as fighting a few good operators (e.g. Kotelnik). Having this kind of grounding before hand would just make the prospect of them two fighting so much more mouth watering.

I understand what the hardcore fans want to see. Trust me... i would love to see this fight.. its one of my favourite match ups. But i see the sense and logic in Bradley's decision. And after all, this is a job to him. If your going to fight someone then you may as well do it at the point when you get paid the most amount of money. I would do the same in Tim's position because as a boxer your shelf life is just rubbish. Im not supporting people like money may who just take the **** and and make fans suffer so he can add another million to his pile through negotioations... but when its someone like Bradley that will never really be a big PPV draw i would recommend him to get as much money as he possibly can from these name opponents.

Some of them like Margarito, sure. 147 has a lot of fighters that have been through wars, have had a lot taken out of them.

I think Bradley would beat Maidana, but not Khan or Alexander. Khan has a big reach and speed advantage, and Bradley isn't a big puncher. I think Alexander is just a better fighter overall.

I swear most here that is defending Bradley is getting dumber by the minute. I'm tired of "building names" bs crap. Bradley vs Alexander is the fight many boxing fans want to see right now not years later like the rest of the dummies keep mentioning. What happen if Bradley lost to Berto after he beat Abregu? Would Bradley vs Alexander still be a big fight? Hell no. Or what happen if Mayweather or Pacquiao easily beat up Bradley in which Bradley still hasn't fought Devon? Would Bradley vs Alexander still be a big fight? Hell freaking no. There hasn't been a real big fight at 140 pounds since Kostya vs Judah in which those 2 prime fighters didn't act like they are stars like Bradley has been acting.

It's hard to hate on Bradley, he's an awesome fighter. So is Devon.

To be honest, I don't think they should fight yet as they are both rising stars and it isn't marketable enough yet. Bradley is the man at 140 and MIGHT be able to get a big fight against a Pac, PBF, Mosley, or Berto...and IMO could give all four hell.

    Bradley who?

He is acting like a prima donna when all he fought are a few B-level fighters and quite a number of cans.

The 140 picture is still developing and there is no "The Man or top dog" at the moment but lots of pretenders.

If Bradley will go up, he is doing Mayweather - letting everybody clear the field first, then come back once the debris settled.

Here are just the list of those few.

Devon Alexander, Amir Khan, Marcos Maidana, Andriy Kotelnik, Victor Ortiz, Kaizer Mabuza

Even JMM might belong to that category quite easily.

As of now, Bradley can not say he is the top dog at 140 because he did not do a **** to deserve that. And I am sure that there are a fews people willing to fight him.

He does not deserve to call the shots as well.

Ok 1 dummy with the "isn't marketable yet" <<<No offense but stfu. Who cares about marketable or about building names. Kostya vs Judah at 140 pounds was a real big fight in which both didn't once act like big name stars that calls the shots. <<<I wish Bradley could learn from this.

How are you going to call anyone a dummy when you suggested that Bradley shouldn't fight Mayweather or Pacquiao because he could lose and it would detract from a fight with Alexander? Now that's pretty dumb.
