How about if you were up three nothing, then Jordan fell down, grazed his knee slightly and then ran off crying like a girl?

I do think Campbell bitched up and he would most likely loose the rematch. However the ref made the wrong call and they should have to do it over.

I'm not going to demonize Bradley behind this incident. He handled himself way better than say, Dawson after the Johnson fight. He's a fighter, he knew he was winning the fight, and if he feels like Nate "quit", he's just voicing the same (wrong) opinion as a whole bunch of other people.

I'd like to see them do it again for a definitive outcome, but if he can make more money elsewhere, that's his right also. He's still a young, talented, hard working fighter, and I'm still going to be a fan of his going forward.

Who I don't forgive is that wishy washy ref who let this whole thing unfold.

couldn't agree more, Nate Campbell reaped what he sowed. He was talking like he beat the **** outta Diaz. But didn't respect the fact that Diaz had a completely shut eye. If he wanted to show respect he would of gave Diaz the Re-match for a chance to get his belts back. Nate saw bigger better things just like Bradley is doing now.

It's amazing how fast karma has spun in Nate's career. Guzman misses the weight against him, he misses it against Funeka. He causes the cut against Diaz, gets cut against Bradley.

I wonder will he coldcock some idiot with his hands down before he retires...

Nate is 37 years old. He can't afford to take too much unnecessary damage. The headbutt didn't just leave a cut, he suffered a vitreous hemmorhage (internal bleeding in the eye). He couldn't see, and he couldn't continue. This should 100% be a ND

That being said, he was gonna get his ass rocked by Timothy at some point. Simply could not keep up with that speed.

I think it should have been ruled a NC, but I also have no interest in a rematch. Showtime's non-168 budget is extremely tight, and surely they can land a better fight than Bradley/Campbell II.

Personally, I'd like to see Bradley take on Peterson. And then perhaps the winner of that fight would take on Khan, who ideally would accrue a significant win in the interim.

Exactly. I mention first about Diaz vs Campbell fight when Campbell headbutt Diaz in the first round in which Diaz got a cut in his left eye but did Diaz cry to his corner he couldn't see? Hell no. Same with Cotto when he got headbutted by a hard head Clottey in the 3rd round but did Cotto quit when the blood was going to his eyes? Hell no. I've seen worse cuts before and Nate cut wasn't close to the worse one. Nate cut was like Rahman cut when Rahman quit in the Toney rematch.

Peterson is the deserving mandatory challenger for Bradley title. I personally want to see Alexander give Nate a shot cause i want to see Alexander take Nate to school easily in which he has the great talent to do it. And after that Nate will finally retired like an old grumpy punk.

I don't necessarily agree with Bradley and a lot of posters here that we "know" that Bradley was gonna dominate Campbell. Yes Campbelll looked sluggish and tim was probably winning before the cut (remember there were only 2 complete rounds and you could argue campbell had the first one) and Campbell obviously wanted to quit. But that doesn't necessarily mean bradley was gonna dominate, it just means that campbell was trying to be smart as opposed to being courageous by not wanting to have to fight a very tough fight with a bad cut. That being said, I got no problem post poning any rematch until campbell proves himself by beating some other top lww as a semi sanction for his conduct. if campbell doesn't do that then he doesn't deserve the remtach. the fight shoudl be a NC though.
