good fighter , but not really marketable for bigger names to need to fight him.

as steve bunce said , he doubts there will hardly a mention in the american press about bradley`s fight last night.

**** you lot are ****ing crazy, a usa fighter wins a fight against a very lack luster witter by sd, then beats edner cherry and he is suddenly the man at 140    :yep :yep :yep

ffs Bradley seems a nice kid but lacks any serious power, he has descent hand speed and seems willing enough to fight. Every time some one wins a couple of fights they seem to be built up as the secound coming :patsch

Ud over edner cherry is ok but he is the 6th person to do it :think Now he is suddenly being proclaimed the man. :dead

Ortiz-Bradley will be THE fight in a year or two. I'd love to see that.

As of right now though, Bradley is in the top 3 at 140.

Witter is a very awkward customer. Nobody wanted to fight him at 140. Hatton didn't want any part of him, nor did the likes of Malignaggi or Torres. Bradley stepped up and beat him comfortably.

Did you watch the fight? The split was bull****. I like Witter and as a Brit you'd think I'd be biased but Bradley beat him probably 8-4. Add to that the knock down I had it 116-111 Bradley.

Edner Cherry is a good fighter. He's tough aswell he's never been stopped. Fair enough he has 5 losses, but this doesn't really mean much. A couple of those were towards the start of his career anyway, only recent losses are to Malignaggi and Armando Santa Cruz who many thought beat Casamayor. Bradley won pretty much every round on the cards.

Maybe not on resume, but on potential, he has the ability to become the man at 140. His conditioning is superb, his hand speed is good, he's a clever, intelligent fighter who studies his opponent to great depths and works hard. He's got solid enough power aswell as he showed by putting Witter don't with a counter, and looks to have a solid chin as Witter has good power but Bradley took any flush shots well.

Yeah i was being a bit harsh if you read my post in the brit forum to a very similay thread, you will see.

He still has a lot to do to be considered the man, he was a bit more heavyhanded id be right on the band waggon myself. The kid has got skills he is fast, but i have to be honest that version of witter was as bad as id seen him fight.

Well except when kotelnic got robbed against him :bbb

i don't remember witter throwing any punches. witter lost that fight with an abysmal performance as opposed to bradley doing anything amazing to win it apart from being very busy. he has the potential to be the man at 140 but only after hatton retires.

Bradley is a good little fighter. He's got a few holes and lapses, but he's also got some flash and substance. He just beat a lower tier, moving up in weight Cherry. I'll reserve judgement at this stage, but I'm very hopeful for Bradley, and I know many of us are pulling for him.

I'm with ya'. Also that kid Ortiz on the JMM undercard last night. Water might be startin' to get deep and cold up at 140.

I'm startin' to think that the name-brand superstar types (Pac,JMM, Campbell,Diaz,etc...) at 135 had better just settle in there and not try to go any further north.

I like Bradley as a fighter,he seems like a legit pressure fighter but has ring intelligence to go along with it. And as Tommy brought his conditioning seems superb.

Yeah I just read the thread.

But the guy has solid power, apparently he hurt Cherry a few times yesterday, and Witter was evidently stunned from a single overhand right counter.

Yeah Witter didn't look good, but I think Bradley fought well and didn't allow Junior back into the fight. He seemed a bit confused and didn't know how to approach him.

He's still a very awkward fighter to fight, nobody wanted a part of him and Bradley deserves credit for stepping up, coming over here and beating him comfortably.

Of course he throw punches, and although I don't remember much of the fight, I'm pretty sure he caught Bradley a few times - he must of done after 36 minutes of boxing.

Bradley as I said above looked good. He did what he had to do to win and he won comfortably against an awkward and tricky opponent. Hatton himself wanted no part of Witter, but Bradley stepped up and outboxed him and won a clear decision.

Hatton is going downhill, it's evident for all to see. I'm not saying this because he lost to Floyd, but he WAS dominated in that fight and knocked out by a guy who is regarded to have little power.

I'm saying this mainly because of the Lazcano fight, this is a 135 who stepped up and Hatton couldn't stop him, and he ate a lot of punchers and was wobbled a couple of times. His punch resistance is decreasing, and his defence is awful.

Bradley, with his superb condition, hand speed and hard work both in the ring and in developing a game plan, COULD beat Hatton. Look how closely he studied Witter. This is an awkward guy who fights without any real rhythm yet Bradley managed to time him again and again with overhand rights and put him down with one. He'd pick up on Hatton's open-ness and find the punches, mainly the left hook, to catch him flush.

Tim is only above average and will never be an elite fighter. I respect his talent but I reckon Witter would beat him in a rematch.
