its nothing to do with race its purely economic and promoter based from HBO

hes had no big money fights, limited fan base and a promoter who has done **** all for him, would you try and sell a fight with a guy on that level. i wouldnt.

****ing hell i hate it when people create racial issues out of thin air. These issues are mostly sustained because stupid ****s bring them up too much.

Anyway, if Bradley beats a third world-class contender like Campbell, i agree that he deserves to be in the big league. But it's gonna take him beating a big-name fighter, rather than just a respected an accomplished fighter. Hatton wasn't internationally big either until he beat Tszyu. Maybe if he beats Campbell, he can entice Hatton into the ring.

After he beats Nate he will get more love from HBO. It be real hard not to love someone that Beat Witter, Holt and Nate. Bradley is showing that he is not afraid to step in the ring with anyone and thats something that the suits in HBO have to look at.

The only color that matter is green- Ortiz got his name put up because Golden Boy has a tight relationship with HBO and they have alot invested in him. They wanted Ortiz in on the 140 action because he's a GBP fighter and HBO's turning into the GBP network. Bradley's a Gary Shaw fighter, and though I've been critical of Shaw's handling of Dirrell and some moves with Dawson, he's done very well with Bradley. He doesn't have HBO connections though- his fighters usually are on Showtime.

And, Kotelnik-Bradley would be a hell of a fight. I haven't seen enough to make me think Bradley's advanced to the point where he shouldn't have to take those fights yet and focus only on superfights. He's a young unified champ who's exacty on the level where he should be focusing on clearing out the division.

He doesn't get overlooked because of skin color, please man, these accusations are very poor and sad. Bradley is a top fighter who can give anyone hell, I also don't understand why he's not getting the recognition I believe he SHOULD get but he's trying to force it with the serious fights he's taking one after another.

If you don't believe Tim Bradley isn't promoted because of his race you are ****ing ridiculous. Lets look at Juan "The Baby Bull" Diaz, he is not a KO artist is he, yet he had the whole ****ing HBO machine behind his ass before he got beat to a pulp by Nate, then KTFO by JMM.

What is the difference between Diaz and Bradley, in terms of the results they produce in high profile fights. None of them are KO fighters, both bring swarming pressure and mentally and physically breakdown opponents, both fight high class opposition and unified the belts in there division, the only difference is one is a hispanic American and therefore gets HBO love, promotion and attention.

Truth is if your black you will not get love in this sport especially from HBO. Not only will you get no love, but they will actually try to diminish your actions in the ring, like they continously do Paul Williams, and last night Tim Bradley.

Tim is a great fighter but unfortunately there aren't ANY stars at 140, besides PAC. I'm sorry but Vic wasn't a star! His promoters were doing what they could to set him up to be a star. That's their Job.

PAC and hatton ARE world beaters based on beating the best in their division or in PAC's case stepping up in weight and dominating top guys in different weight classes. Either way they PROVED their status by what they've done in the ring. Tim is on the right path and beating a good fighter in Kendal Holt as a nice step in the right diretion but Get the **** outa here with saying Tim is the "Real Star".....Based on WHAT? I mean his skills are nice and he's a legit jr WW but he hasn't done **** to make him a star YET.

Because he beat a who?? Kendal Holt?? That all the sudden makes him the best at 140? It was a good win. I'll give him that but he hasn't proven **** yet. I'm excited for Tim and Glad he has a good fight in Nate next but I don't think he wins this one to be honest.

HBO is about money. They don't give a damn what color you are. HBO practicly bankrolled RJJ, and then there's Taylor, Lenox, Tyson, PBF.... The list goes on. HBO is in the business of making money. If you can sell they will show your match. This has nothing to do with Bradley being black. It is about Bradley being promoted correctly and Bradley being able to attract a big enough following to ofset the cost for a big network like HBO to televise him. You do understand it cost money to show these bouts?

Hatton beat no world class fighters as the 140 champ except a semi-retired Koysta, so lets cut the BS about him ever showing he was the class as Tim Bradley, Manny, or hell at 140 Kendall Holt, Torres, Mayweather or any other top fighter in that division during his reign.

Manny only beat 1 top guy in his journey jumping divisions and that is JMM, after that he only beat the weakest titlist in the division, such as David Diaz and Ricky Hatton, now he wants to fight weight drained WW for WW titles.

Tim is the REAL STAR of 140, because he actually is fighting and beatings TOP 140 fighters, he beat the Number 3 rated Jr. WW when he beat Witter, he then beat a top 5 Jr. WW when he beat Holt, that alone is more top 5 fights at Jr. WW than Hatton ever had. Now he is facing a dangerous Nate Campbell, a man who Pac choose not to fight at 135, fighting Diaz instead then running off to 140 to fight Hatton instead of cleaning out the division like JMM.

So really lets cut the BS, there is only 1 man at 140 and that is Tim Bradley, period.

HBO promotes fighters and hypes people as well, like they did with JT, Lennox, Tyson, and lately PBF, after he demolished their lover boy Gatti. I know this is a money business, but my point is they take time to hype untested products yet ignore legit and established young names if they are not mexican. Look at their promotion of Ortiz last night, they actually tried to make Bradley look like he was a step in class below ****ing Ortiz. They continously try to leave Paul Williams out of the WW picture because no GBP fighter wants to fight him, even though he and his promoters constantly have to yell he is a true 147 fighter. The **** is ridiculous. Like I said before if Tim Bradley was Tim Diaz, and Paul Williams was Paul Martinez, they would be ****ing superstars on HBO.
