Check out my post on here man- it's not the race, it's the connections. GBP and HBO have a relationship that's so cozy, their fighters get the benefit of the doubt on that network. They're not going to go out of their way to hype a Showtime fighter, which is where Shaw's fighters (including Bradley) build their names at. HBO didn't mention **** about Chad Dawson until he was actually on their network. That's just how it goes.

Bradley's exposure is just fine given where he's at considering he's just come into his own at the world level for about a year- if he beats Campbell (and that's an "if" at this point), he's going to get some more well-deserved exposure.

I somewhat agree with this especially Williams. Paul Williams is being ****ed by everyone in boxing the guy is the definition of P4P and not even in the Ring's top 10 P4P. If he was Latino he would be the biggest star on HBO.

Some fighters have to come up the hard way. Bradley is one of them. Soon he will be at the point where he can no longer be denied. The modern day Hagler as far as stardom goes. If he wins convincingly against Campbell he will be a step closer. Hatton wouldn't dare fight someone like him and Pac would look at risk versus reward which wouldn't allow it to happen. He is a very talented fighter who will only be noticed by true fight fans and not just guys who hear about KO artist.

i heard from a very reliable source ( insider ) that before the Hatton Pacquiao fight, Bradley's team was raving that Bradley will beat the **** out of Pacquiao since Pacquiao is stepping in the 140lb division. After the fight, the team were hush hush about everything when asked again about fighting Pacquiao. Guess they are very weary now.

Bradley is a very technical fighter. But his chin is questionable after fighting Holt. If Holt caught him with that left, imagine what Pacquiao can do with his left. I won't be questioning Holt's power but with Pacquiao's speed and power combined I think Manny would take it.

Again, these guys can't sell crap and the have a crappy promoter. That has nothing to do with HBO. WHy do you think boxers of the past sold their soul with Don King? Cause he was a hell of a promoter back then. He got them the HBO bouts and the PPV fights. You keep on mentioning GBP. Well GBP helps pay for half the cost when his fighters get on HBO. Ofcourse they get a huge pay from it too but the point to all this is that he has a hell of a promotion company. His boxers get great exposer and they have deep pockets to get these guys fights.

It is not HBO, Showtime, or any other network. It is the boxer's fan base and how much his promtional company is willing to get him to where he can become a star.

R rated Kendall would beat him in a rematch.. First fight was a fluke.. Bradley didnt win because he was that good, it was because Holt wasn't himself that night..

    Holt beat himself.

Not if he's not with Golden Boy he wouldn't be the biggest fighter on HBO.

Paul's criminally underexposed due to getting froze out by the bigger names who have the connections to keep a guy like that on the outside- a couple of whom are black themselves. It's not about race, it's about risk/reward.

It's no different than Mike McCallum not being able to crack the Big 4 of the 80's of Duran, Hagler, Hearns, and Sugar Ray (you could even add Benitez in there) despite being a great fighter in his own right. It's not because McCallum was black, it's because he wasn't connected enough to get the fights.

I fear Paul's going to have to go a different path because he's not going to get the shot at ruling this batch of Welterweights. He'd be better off taking on Dzinziruk and establishing himself at 154, which is wide open and has some young talent coming up through it.

    It's not fair....but unfortunately, that's business.

You might be a Maidana fan but Bradley probably schools him. The likes of Bradley dont get due credit because he isnt a HUGE puncher, doesnt fight stupidly like a Gatti and has had slippy difficult customers like Witter/Holt who make everyone look bad the way they fought.

Give Bradley an aggressive fighter like Madiana and it will be an exciting fight

BTW allot of people had Madiana beating Kotelnik in the first 1 but it was in germany

great post at least you are not blinded..I have cancelled my HBO subscritption since they won't be showing **** for another two months:deal

I am keeping showtime since the braldey campbell fight will deterrmine the real champ at 140.

we all know pac and hatton are afraid of black fighters so seeing pac or hatton in the ring with a campbell, bradley, or holt won't be happening anytime soon:deal

hatton is talking about fighting old forbes:deal

Damn you fools still don't get it.

HBO is in the business of making money. Not pleasing a handfull of people. There is a small , very very small market of people who want and would watch Bradley.

Like it or not but HBO is the leader in boxing. Showtime can have Bradley and will also be second best to HBO when it comes to boxing. They don't care about boxing junkies. HBO caters more to the mainstream cause that is what sells. Trying to blame a company for not showing what it considers a bad investment is stupid just cause you happen to like the fighter. Bradley is a good boxer but he brings zero to the rating.

So who is Ledwaba? Are haters already running out of excuses and now pulling the race card? I mean common. Next thing you know people will say Pac is scared of the Klitschko brothers that's why he's not going to heavyweight.

What??? Hatton beat the #1 rated fighter in Tszyu then twice beat the #1 rated contender in Castillo and Malignaggi. If that's not world class competition what is? Bradley is a decent little fighter, but I was more impressed with him in the Witter fight than against Holt, I thought Holt had all the tools to win that fight but let himself be outworked. You could maybe argue him as being on the level of Hatton now based on Hatton being on the slide, but Pac is the class of the division and think he'd beat Bradley. Hatton was the real champ, Bradley just a beltholder which is why Pac chose the Hatton fight. Winning that now makees him the man at 140. All the same workrate, more speed, more power, probably a better chin and he's a southpaw.

113 posts and thats all i need to know that you are a complete and utter bell end who's tryng to bring race into every issue.

Look throughout Hattons and Pacs career and they have beaten numerous black fighters........

just like Bradley has beaten white fighters, you need to get a grip
