Here is a young guy who goes to England as an underdog to challenge the then champion Witter, and takes he home the title. He struggles against Holt, but digs deep and finds a way to win, like all good champions do. He beat a then highly touted and undefeated Lamont Peterson in a 50/50 fight. He was on his way to beating Campbell who was riding a 5 fight win streak and was still thought to be a tough fight. He beats 29-0 Welterweight Abregu, and now he beats an undefeated Alexander, who up until yeasterday most people thought highly of.

Bradley isnt a perfect fighter, but he is pretty damn good and is about as mentally tough as any fighter I've seen. Yes, he is involved in a lot of heatbutts, but he doesnt initiat them every time and when he does it is not intentional. Hes a short guy with a bald head and sometime he does come in a little low with his head. But its the toughness in his head that win him fights, not the headbutts. In 27 fights he has accomplished a lot and fights with the same hunger every time out. Also, hes willing to take on all challenges to prove he is the best. He may lose to Kahn, he may not, but he will fight him to determine who is the better man. What more do you want from this guy?

everyone on this forum is blinded by their own bias.

Well, on this forum world champions are pussies and bitches, and posters are supposedly world champions (NALLEGE).

    The armchair critics are hilarious.

    Agreed

Its not normal to go to another country and take out the champion there along with the belt. He dominated Witter and knocked him down and still only walked away with a SD

I give Bradley tons of respect

Its just bad for boxing when a guy who gives 100% every time out and trains for every fight like he is fighting Ray Leonard is given so much

I agee with you, one other thing which annoys me is fans changing their opinion completely of a fighter after one bad performance. Champions these days have a lot to be nervous about, becuase one bad performance (it dosent have to even be a loss) can lead to them being written off by a lot of fans. A lot of boxing fans change their opinion's so quickly that they cant be taken seriously.

Bradley has gone from being the most skillful fighter of the most talented division, to a guy who will lose to an average Amir Khan. ESB's experts are quite something.

(I still have him beating Khan).

But yes, his head-butts are off-putting. I'm not a fan of his style, in fact, I detest it. But there's no denying his quality as a fighter. He's well rounded, and he's done well for his achievements at 140. Easily and deservedly the number one guy in the division. Gets his ass handed to him by Pacquiao and Mayweather, though.

I disagree completely. Before this fight everyone was saying Brad was a classy operator who wants to fight the best. He converted a lot of people with his recent interviews. Saying nobody gives him credit is false.

Alexander is the one most fans are pissed off at because he bitched out of the biggest fight of his life and was already making excuses about Khan weeks ago.

Tim Bradley is a class act.

    Indeed.

I love his mentality & competitiveness. I didn't like it when Alexander was saying he doesn't need Khan. But Bradley all throughout the build up, even after winning still maintaining he wants Khan.

Winner of Khan Bradley gets a top 10 p4p slot. Before that both of them do not deserve it.
