Tim Bradley May The Most Disrespected/Discredited Champion In Recent History

I agree 100%, Bradley is a gift to boxing, his attitude reminds me of Glen Johnson, just an all around respectful and a cool guy who fights the best

 

Bradley is a good fighter, but not a great one, and it remains to be seen whether he is a very good one. Him and Khan is pretty much a toss up at the moment, but he would be miles and miles out of his depth against a Pacquiao or a Mayweather. Can't say fairer than that at this stage.

 

For all of the reasons the TS posted, I want to like him more, but for whatever reason, I'm just not a huge fan. The headbutts aren't helping, although I'm sure they are unintentional. Can't help but respect his dedication and conditioning.

I make him a slight underdog against Khan because Amir has shown just enough chin now for me to think he survives the best Tim lands on him, the edge in speed is going to be magnified by the huge difference in height, and boxing politics are going to force Bradley to win eight clear rounds to earn a decision. Throw Roach into the equation, and if Bradley wins, he'll have won me over big time.

 

The headbutts aren't going to stop, because it's Tim's habit when in close to push his head forward from his body to avoid shots. There's a quote after the fight somewhere where he even admits that he does it. It's BS to say he doesn't cause the butts, because it's obvious with the way he uses his head that it is causing them... he doesn't seem to give a ****, because he's not penalized, and rarely is he cut because it's always his forehead or top of head hitting the other guys face.

Being hit with someones head sucks, especially frustrating when it's called "accidental".. because it might be accidental in that it wasn't fully intentional, but it intent doesn't mean it wasn't Bradleys fault most of the time.

Hard to respect a champ like that.. much like I didn't and still don't respect Holyfield.

 

everybody has a go at bradley for the clashes of heads but its not his fault he is always the smaller guy who needs to get on the inside plus he is a fighter that uses head movement not many fighters use head movement these days for some reason and sometimes bradleys basically gettin criticised for it

 

i think the best thing to do in boxing so that there will be no excuses after the fight is to shot the loser in the head. lol.

 

well deserved, fighting like that on a championship fight where an amazing performance would have put him at the top of peoples conversations..

Instead we get head butts clinching 1-2 combos hug, 1-2 combo hug.

 

We still respect Bradley the man, we just lost some respect for Bradley the fighter.

He has a lot of what boxing needs but he'd be a gift if the headbutts stop. Its causing way too much controversy in boxing to be any good.
