That's all true SJ, but he's had two gifts of varying weight in two fights. You know fans aren't going to like that very much.

Nope. Can't fully agree or side with the sensitive people who get bent out of shape because of the negativity Bradley has gotten.
I understand he's gone through a tough year since the Pacquiao fight and that he put a great effort last night. Nothing but respect for being active.
But Tim knows he's in show business and part of it, huge part, is taking **** from the public. He knows exactly what he was getting into when perusing fame.
The only people upset should be him and his family. And they better stay strong because if Bradley, (or any entertainer for that matter) wants the lime light and accolades, then **** will head their way as well.
"Fans" being upset for him is pretty pathetic. Maybe not as pathetic as the ones who sent threats to the guy, but still pretty lame

They wont like that but neither of them were Bradley's fault though - and even if it was the guy got death threats man... This situation is 100% a section of boxing "fans" being ****s

Tim won last night. He won too many rounds. If you count that first round knockdown and and consider the second round 10-8, Tim still wins by a point or gets a draw at worst.

Me too, but if the knockdown in one was ruled a knockdown then it's a draw.

Of course, rationally, it's not his fault, but when a fighters gets two gifts, people scoff at the fighter. Always have, always will.

I fully agree that it's bull**** how Bradley's been treated by the establishment. He would've eliminated a lot of it if he admitted he was lucky to get the Pac win, but I can't and don't hold it against any fighter for not doing that. Bradley's a warrior and deserves respect.

However, I disagree with two things in the original post:

    1) You can't really say Bradley was the smaller man and that Provodnikov had a noticeable size advantage. Nothing backs that up. Bradley's actually weighed in over 140 lbs 17 times in his career vs 14 for Provodnikov. Same height, and while I didn't catch Ruslan's in-ring weight, it couldn't have been much, if any, higher than the 160 Bradley was.

    2) The thought that Bradley somehow took all these extra risks for the fans is also bull****. The guy was fighting on pure instinct for half of the fight- his natural instinct was survival and fighting back. In that state, the last thing on any fighter's mind is the fans.

Bradley was a little heavier on fight night. I feel my point was valid if you look at the two in the ring fighting.

As far as you disagreeing with the second point, Bradley went out there to FIGHT, and yeah it was by choice, as evidenced by him being able to BOX the mid to late rounds, again out of choice.

I had him winning 8 rounds to 4, Ruslan had two 10-8 rounds on my card making the final score 114-112 Bradley
